I grew up in the streets, the streets raised me and made me a gangster, I was a blood, I sold dope. Been in shoot outs, fights, in and out of jail since age 17, I robbed people and got robbed. I can't tell you how many times I've watched/listened to this version. As an explosive singer myself I am simply in awe at what this young man is able to do vocally yet again on this song. Its almost unearthly. I do believe that from time to time heaven invades and drops a little bit of heaven here on earth to give us a taste of how things are there. I bet the angels surrounding the throne of God have voices that stop you in your tracks and make you wonder. Kind of how this young man's voice does. Please pray for my boss, he claimed to use to be a Christian but he has now fallen completely away, and I want him to repent and come back to our God. This song brought tears to my heart, this job has been so hard because I’m new, and he has not been forgiving or patient and I felt likw just quitting, but I heard the verse “God of Salvation, you chased down my heart, through all of my failures and pride...” and I felt my soul’s tears answered with hope and assurance that I’m where I need to be.
