I am so captivated by the picture & idea of creation praising God (Read Psalm 148).
What is it about a tree, the ocean, rocks or stars that can praise God? These soulless creations, are somehow able to praise, to worship though they cannot speak, sing or pray. But you see, they praise God by simply being and doing what they were created to do.
And i believe that we as human beings we easily lose sight of that; of the simplicity of being before His presence and doing what we were created to do. We lose sight of it because we start striving and we try to somehow earn or deserve His love and so we forget that we were created for relationship and to worship Him.
We get so caught up in “doing” that we forget of the simplicity of just BEING in His presence.
Like the trees, the rocks, the stars, we too can find purpose in simply being who we were created to be!
