I’m not going to lie… for anybody who doesn’t think he is good on offense, please try him against this sos gwenpool. His damage is at least an 8/10. Every special 1 after some ramp up is like 60k damage for a 6* r4. Then 25k per 5 hits with all of that damage. Sp2 does like 70k but against armor ups it does around 200k at max. The numbers get kinda wild. Super smart design as he is not great at short fights so no one gets angry about his overall strength. Long and medium or most tech match-ups he destroys. Another DLL w but I do agree he will get nerfed on defense despite his overall design being better than say Bullseye imo.

I play around with him in aq. And he smokes everyone. Even mystics.. he really doesn't have a true counter. You have to pace the fight against serpants ai or u will die. That's a Huge factor in a good defender. You have no choice but to bait his sp1 to heal. Unless u have absman and can manage his sp2. But then. U can't manage absmans powergain to keep that energy damage at bay. He's 100% one of the best in the game.

yes i recently took mine up to r4 and awakened him and i havent even used him on defense yet just offense and hes a lot of fun, his animations and long form damage are very satisfying.

The one thing i dont like is how much he can just Stand there and powergain. And sp2 u in the block. I dont think thats fair against random champs not counters. Counters can manage. But with a revive or 2 or 4. 😆 the powergain is what gets me everytime. Especially on boss node.

I've been saving a lot of 6 star shards this past month just to get him on the new featured crystal, but no luck opening 20 crystals. Hopefully I'll pull him on my next batch of crystals 🤞😅

pulled a 7* of him in my last titan crystal, and then just few days later when new titan pool came out got the 6* which I was gonna take up to max before I got 7*, will settle at r2 him unduped for now, maybe July 4 deals will somehow get a dupe on him 🤷‍♂️

hes crazy cracked for incursions and makes that attribute rare hack so useful if u have abunch of those common hacks picked, makes for a tanky option. buff duration, cpr rare hack also really damn good. Cant go without buff cornu cuz more buffs more fun Hell, hes my new fav counter for power play ( depending on power , you / enemy gets fatesealed, but serpent's immune to that)

DLL has nothing to do with these stuff, the balance team makes the decision. If bullseye is getting nerf I see serpent will alsp be getting nerfed, they don't need to change much just touch the awakening ability regen and power gain is too much a non ideal matchup. And if DLL thinks he can safeguard his characters from balance just for ego sake, that will be bad for the game as a whole. Everyone can be wrong initially, that's why balance team exists. Look what happened with kate bishop, who clearly is overtuned, causing so many problems to the game design, all because he refused to allow his characters to be rebalanced.
