Having played FFXI at NA launch (2003), I'm extremely hyped for the alliance raid. I hope it focuses on the 75 cap era of the game. I know it won't, and that is OK. I just hope they my favorite areas (Zi'tah, ,Ru'Aun Gardens, Al'taieu, and Promyvion)

After playing the game for about 5 years, I finally jumped into current extreme trials. Before this they had intimidated me, but I'm so glad I got over that because they're so fun! I still haven't even seen a single pair of wings drop... except for the Sage weapon, and when I saw it I typed "WINGS" in party chat and got everyone excited lmao oops

I unlocked all the fate vendors, farmed the fending set from the new raid, cap my Helio every week with expert roulette, farmed the wings of resolve (91 kills as a tank), won and decorated a med home, and now I'm waiting for whatever comes next while continuing to gear up.

I've always, aside from leveling my crafting/gathering jobs, just focused on Paladin. Usually I'll kinda drop off partway through the expansion story (or the patch story) only to catch up just ahead of the next expansion releasing. This time, though, I not only leveled up Viper for the second half of the MSQ (because I'm an idiot who didn't want to waste MSQ experience points), but after the MSQ I picked up Conjurer (which I left at level 16 a looooong time ago) and have so far gotten it up to level 90 while also enjoying a lot of side content I've kinda ignored over the past decade.

Should finally get all classes to 100 after roulettes tonight! Wanted to get it done before holidaying next week - my next goal is likely to be getting the fate achievements done (so farming for the new fate mount - 130/500 vouchers atm). Appreciated all the puns!

A note about Hunts: EU does the "lfg" thing, but in NA we just use party finder (under the Hunt tab). If a party leader has their party listed in PF, they can't manually add you to their party, so spamming "lfg" or "inv" in chat might not get you very far.

I like that this time around only the Level 100 MSQ Dungeon Minion is untradabe and not the last 3 like in Endwalker. However I wish they had those tradable also by now. Corn of Necessity in Tuliyollal (X:16.4, Y:12.8) is a fun quest to get the Corncob Minion. It's yellow, so easily missable. Also the new PvP Battlepass gives the Oppressor mount, one of FF14s favourite enemies!

I'm currently working on the Savage raids with my static. I have cleared the current extremes plenty of times, but no mounts yet. What I'm looking forward to is the new field operation, although it is still quite a long time away. This is because I got so late into the game Eureka and Bozja slipped from me when they were new content. Not going to let that happen.

I resubbed about a month ago after getting the crafting itch again. I'm level 88-ish and I get SO SIDE TRACKED with all the stuff that I'm not sure if I'll get to 100 before Dawntrail ends. At least my crafters are levelling nicely!

Right clicking your characters name in the character selection screen allows you to upload/download your UI to their cloud. Top right gear of the character select screen allows you to save your character config settings as well.

The expansion was not well received and the previous expansion was the end of the first story so maybe a lot of people simply stopped playing.

Dawntrail was far worse than any of the other expansions, so a lot of friends including I have stopped playing. Don't get me wrong, it's certainly an expansion, just not a very interesting one. It's not the type of end of WoW bad at all, it's just worse, but it's not bad.

Lvl 100 on rdm, but so many quests I could waste exp on. So I leveled machinist to 100. Then my 2nd retainer maxed her levels at 72, reminding me that I should grind out my miner. Decided to work on Warrior too, but I'm not comfortable playing with others except in DPS roles.

I had the brilliant idea of making my own crafted gearset this go around, since I got into Endwalker just as Diadochos was becoming irrelevant and right now Archeo Kingdom is extremely good. But.... lord, those master recipes are demanding. I spent quite a bit of time getting all the books and HQ armor / tools and melding them up, and even so, a trial synthesis here or there reveals the odds on gettting HQ archeo gear is still far from certain.

I have 3 jobs left to level and they're almost done. Normally in the dead time I would level my alt through the MSQ but that would mean playing the Dawntrail MSQ again so... At least Space Marine 2 is coming soon. I did get the sugar glider mount, the Alpaca, and the Mica suit so now I'm just going to coast.

I haven't finished the MSQ due to the difficulty of the final normal trial, but you don't need to in order to continue the crafting and gathering journey. So I almost have my BiS crafted for all 11 classes, then I'll make a set of iLvl 710 gear, meld it, and try again.

Hey zepla (or anyone) i noticed you mentioned being second lieutenant in your grand company was needed for the hunts. I am currently stuck at that rank and dont know how to promote. Im only just now actually getting into the grand company and squadron stuff and i dont know how to promote especially since it aays i cant but theres two more ranks above me and their rewards i cant get. Anyone know what to do?

I’m pretty sure the first of those ranks requires you to get your squadron to complete a certain mission (requires I want to say level 40 characters or so) and the second requires you to complete a certain number of command missions with your squadron (I think 3?)

I have like 3 jobs at 90, just coming back to the game recently so messing around with leveling jobs and a little bit of PCT. Haven't started the MSQ yet. Never been too interested in savage or raids in general to push for gear. Another patch or xpac comes out and I can just get better gear normally rather than having to stress tf out for in groups.

Still need to get some jobs up, (outside of sage, I haven't touched healers so its... a grind). Crafting and gathering is always fun, and hunts are great. I think this is the first expansion where I've actually been current with the raids, and they have been so fun. I'm a pretty casual player, but I'm tempted to try the harder difficulties even though I know I will be eating the floor more often than not :'}

i did some savage raids last expansion, leveled everything i had (except crafting/gathering) and collected all mounts i could get my hands on, now after a long break ive lost basically all interest in ff14, i skipped all of msq, am still too lazy to do any crafting/gathering and i lost my house on purpose because i didnt want to log in. now im just leveling my classes again and i dont think i will ever do any content again, i kinda wish i could wipe my memory of ff14 and start anew

I reached 100 with my DRG then I started leveling my Viper, then I'll level a healer either Sage or Scholar, then a tank -- my PLD or Gunbreaker, then caster DPS -- RDM/SMN, then a range DPS -- my BRD, then I'd choose which one to level up next -- I really like Samurai. NIN is a meh, too much button pressing to activate a single lackluster skill. I like to like the MNK but the Devs just don't know what they want MNK to be. The other jobs I just don't care about except my Reaper, that job saved the universe, it deserve to sit this expansion out.

If anyone ever wonders why there are big gaps between ZeplaHQ uploads, it's not because she's busy streaming. Oh no. Zepla just requires a minimum number of PPM (that's Puns Per Minute). And a subset of those must be Bun Puns.
