I actually do think Stun is fun... but even i draw a line at this version of it. I think means of slowing a game this rocket infused is good, but I play stun to other ends. Nice plays!

@@BeardedSnowlYGO Your someone who plays and shows your matches. you have a preference, and there's nothing wrong with it. My issue with Stun isn't even stun. it's the way people rage about stun and it's variants. Stun can feel so oppressive because the game itself has no breaks once it went to full combo and so many decided decking M/T removal is to much of a risk. it's a format check if anything, like Snorlax Stall was recently in pokemon's TCG, and like snorlax stall, it's treated with significant ire. Calls back to my favorite modern release deck being Runick. I was a mill deck player in the early days, but gods forbid you focus with Runick on the mill instead of treating the deck as an instant fusion engine for some other build. so much rage about every little bit of Runick compared to nearly unrestricted Tearlament before their hits and snake-eyes now as if more and more banish tools that can even avoid targeting don't exist (Hi I:P'd S:P), and there's just no chokepoints to attack Runick, annywher- oh wait, my Hugins are practically married to Ash. if your guard drops for 1 turn on any strategy that isn't an OTK, you likely lose it all to the decks that can, and even with Runick doing banishes for mill, there's nothing like running into decks like Ghoti, Floo, and others that advantaged off being banished. losing to mill is the equivalent of being beaten normally, the only difference is you can complain about the lost resources because you got to see them go, and runick pays for that with lost battle tempo and minimal field presence. I didn't want to run the heaviest stun options and frequently still don't, but as many times as they hit the deck especially on MD because of Bo1 formatting what am i supposed to replace it with if i still wanna play the way i intend?

I feel like if a deck is annoying (stun,floo,kash,whatever 4th option) people like to jump on the band wagon and just hate to hate. Usually it starts when a professional player and/or Yugituber hates a deck (I can think of a few people) , people like to jump on the band wagon. That's kind of the reason why I expect any comment I make on someone else's channel, even when I'm always trying to be positive, I get responded with "cringe" or something of the sort. But also, its Yugioh. What deck isn't annoying nowadays? The whole game revolves around responding to each other on each other's turn. Or atleast that's what its turned into. I feel like the hate for stun, (atleast the ones I've faced in the video) is that it just stops everyone from playing the game. Or atleast that's how I see it. But I also see both sides, becasue if it wasn't for how fast and crazy the game has evolved, stun wouldn't even be that annoying. Its a catch 22 lol. I feel like everyone can enjoy what deck they like, and if its toxic enough it needs to be banned. Baronne being banned for an example I don't hate lol.

Every deck is someone's favorite I suppose, and that's okay lol. Even though I dislike stun, I know what its like for my favorite deck to be generally disliked.
