MBT was exaggerating pretty hard, there's dozens of monsters that could be printed or receive an archetype. Alligator's sword. Orichalcos. IDK if we're going to see enough penguin cards to call it an archetype but that penguin torpedo card was just announced. Etc.

i still think zombies is better overall than numeron. I feel like Numeron only works when everything goes perfectly and they don't have an imperm/ghost ogre for network. or kaijus. The otk almost never happens because you have to go second and play through disruptions.

The pros and cons section is basically "Since Synchron is obviously on the way out, this could fill that space, but by the time this comes out Eldlich will probably be gone too" and now there are lists that unironically play Eldlich Syncrhon and Numeron

Plunder patroll eldlich, treasures and pirates, discarding synergy just begs you to try it. A lord on the field allows a ship from the deck from a white beard summon, but I'm not done yet. The spelltraps for trolls help back up your goals when you banish for resources, and a lord in your grave is a stupendous save when you send plunder patroll monsters out to enforce it. Field spells to send traps to get banished, and when the chain starts up, your defeat has vanished, and round two decks get cut.

I wouldn't make any bets on Konomi's intellegence, mate. They're not exactly known for making the best decisions when it comes to their games, unless we're talking about them trying to make a profit. Even then, they can't do that half right or decent most of the time, if the archtypes released in Mystic Fighters (weak upon release, requiring more support to be rouge playable at most) and Secret Slayers (Released the current two super archtypes that rule the meta that have only gotten better/'worse' over time) are of any note of that.

I love this deck. I love this deck too much. I really think that draw 4, banish entire board, make utopic zexal and azathoth on crack your opponent is definitely fair. It may not belong to my favourite Zexal character. But my god i cant wait to annoy my opponents to death with Numeron otk. Also, id try and play it without the eldlich stuff as although it isnt the most likely to be looked at, id play more ways into network and maybe some other consistancy or combo cards.

I joked back in the day that Komoney will release a deck that goes like this: activate a card, summon your deck, attack and gg. Well jokes on me. I think Konami should make a new rule. Max 5 or 6 cards in Extra Deck. Also we need monster handtraps with spell speed 3. If they can close the gap between new tier 1 decks and other tier 2 and 3 in addition to changes i already proposed we would have much better game at our grasp. (i would also get rid of link summon but i guess thats just too much to ask for )

How would the game benefit from having about 1/3 of its current extra deck space when there's already plenty of decks that have to choose which cards to include for match ups or different situations, and there's other decks that don't need as many cards and can use the extra space for optional cards? And do you realize if a there was a good hand trap with spell speed 3, the tier 1 decks would also be able to use it and become even better than the weaker decks?

Lol. Pure Numeron on it's own is potent as hell even without Eldlich. All Eldlich does is help you out your Zexal if it's effect fails to go off.

If I have one complaint with this set up, its that you should be running more numerons in the extra deck. partially because it seems that your more likely to find your self in a disadvantageous position where resolving a second calling could turn the game around, then in such an advantageous position you'd be making trains or the wyrm with eldliches. additionally numeron is kinda a big engine for a one shot power boost, and it doesn't clean out all the engine pieces after resolving it. you end up with a lot of dead cards and its very hard to quantify how much a negative impact that has on the deck.
