So you wanna be a Pathfinder in 2020

Wow it's been a while! Expect a lot more videos coming at the end of August as I'll have a lot more time on my hands to create videos, but until then, enjoy being a pathfinder!
This video's a bit long because I went over all the skills including passives, and 5th job skills, which I used to do in separate videos.

Luckily you can many your damage smaller...or uh reduce the font size I mean, or even change how it appears. I just like the normal basic one that rises as you do damage lol

I'm sure the scale of the game has only increased exponentially since I last played (back when Zakum was THE boss to kill). And I just read there is MapleStory 2? That's insane lol.

@@s.l5787 For sure! There's a lot more game content now! And lots more bosses lol. While 2 days won't be enough to explore it all, definitely try the game out if you have the time. Don't need to get far, just check out some of the things that have changed. Or don't lol up to you. Maple 2 is very much going back to class roles and party play. It's a lot more quest oriented as well. Honestly it's such a great game, it just sucks that it got so repetitive early on due to the game not updating fast enough for people. So by the time the really good stuff like new skills and stuff came out, people had moved on already.

I think you got the lil tidbit about obsidian barrier blocking lucid bomb mixed up. in my experience, deluge barrier doesnt negate lucid bomb damage, just reduces damage by 40% iirc. Ive used blast shield and torrent multiple times and they guard lucid bomb damage. but if a party member isnt in the barrier with you, it can get passed to them too

my pathfinder is so squishy it's impossible for me to do quests or mob monsters my lv range. im lv180 right now and my hp is only 10k. when I get hit by monsters my lv range, I take around 2000-3000 damage, making me waste hp pots :((

For sure pathfinder is still amazing. Very good at both mobbing and bossing. Hero is a much better bosser than it is a mobber, but their mobbing isn't as bad as people say it is. Just lacks mobility and range, but very strong. I would just make both of them and see who you enjoy more.

kyo i have a question since u have a lot of 200+ characters, do u do dailies on any of them or only a select few/one ,(Arcane, Gollux etc) and is it feasable to have multiple mains at the ssame time

I do dailies on my Bucc, Bishop, and Ark. I would say it's better to focus on one character, then use the gains from that character to help your side main if anything. Having one main means you have more things to sell, or not work on. But having multiple characters you're playing, like in my case, I play 2 STR classes, and one INT class. So if one of my STR classes gets some INT on something, I'm not gonna trade or sell it, I'm giving it to my Bishop. It can certainly hold you back in terms of getting stronger, but I also do it to help members of my guild. If I complete all my bosses on my Bucc, I can at least take people that missed the runs on my Bishop or Ark. I hope I answered your question, I kind of went on a little rant there lol.

I went over hyper stat very quickly, but basically because every class in the same except for Zero, Kanna, DS and DA. Other than that, I think every class is similar in hyper stat order. Same thing with link skills really, but I'll think about doing it for the next videos!

How long a free to play newbie to reach lvl 200?

Depends how much time you have to play, if you're gonna focus on 1 character only, or if you're going to play multiple characters for link skills to get extra damage and exp. It took me about two weeks to hit 200 in a normal server with no help from anyone. For me that's kind of fast as well. Of course it can be done faster, but I was playing casually for fun in another server. For someone who just uses guides and doesn't know much about the game or scrolling, definitely longer. If I were to start a new character in a fresh server with no help and rush to 200, maybe 3 days. Also depends on the class you pick as well. Some classes train better than others for sure.

Speaking as someone who basically never used kishin after 200. It's not the worst. But it does take a lot of time, and not everyone can spare that time, so I understand. But! Now you don't need kishin! They've released an item that gives kishin for 2 hours with unlimited use within those 2 hours. The only thing is, it costs 2k reward points, or some event coins in order to get it. It's certainly better to just have a 2nd pc with a kanna on it, but at least there's an option for someone like me who never used kishin above 200. I can at least have kishin for 2 hours lol. Haven't really trained since they released it though. But I plan on being 248 soon!

Legion is helping me a ton with HP increases, also I'm gaining another 10% from the chaos root abyss set effect. Not much but it helps. Also having my equips 10 starred I think also increases my hp.

Sorry you feel that way about Blaster, the most powerful class, but hey, at least not a lot of people play them! Just messin' with ya! I think the design is pretty nice, you don't have to agree. The blue against purple works pretty well, and the animations are smooth enough and not so flashy that you're distracted by them. Compared to the more VERY well designed skills of Jett and AB's skills. Like the detail on those two classes is amazing. The artists who did those skills, just...wow. Back to PF though! Not the worst thing that could have happened for sure.
