The big difference between our generation and now's is that the way we learned to play Marvel and many classic fighting games was that we left school and with a few coins in our pockets we went to the arcade where you met up with your group to play and practice until you got tired. There was always a challenger. What good times!

Feels bad to leave a comment "complaining" in such a wonderful tutorial video, but a bunch of the clips in the assists list have the wrong clip edited in, such as Ryu throwing a Hadouken on the anti-air and Shoryuken on projectile. There's a bunch. The idea for the assist list with all the clips is wonderful tho, and I'd definitely check this video multiple times just to look for the right assists for a team. No shade on the editors btw, I can't even imagine the nightmare that must have been recording and editing all those clips. To much stuff to keep track of, especially with a tight deadline and putting up daily videos. Much love.
@Digitalbooty4 ай бұрын
I was just about to comment on this. I do think that his ranking was probably correct, so if you ignore the graphic but just pay attention to the ranking of the assist, it's still good information. No lie I have been waiting for this series for a long long long time and I hope you continue it Justin because they're people like me that are mid to in-between mid and low skill level , we lose to anyone who is better but have a chance with the same or lower skill levels. This series is something I've been waiting for because it can help me understand the game on levels that we couldn't understand before or at least for me. Thank you Justin I hope this becomes a series and I hope it becomes something absolutely special for those who are new and old to the scene. The end goal for me is , I just want to be able to be good at the game and be able to actually kick some ass and enjoy the game and not have people leave the lobby because we suck at the game. I also want to note Justin probably knows about 98% - 99% of this game and the percent that is left over is something that's on probability mid fight or hidden. Marvel 2 is a very complexed game to understand especially in advance/elite play. To this day I think Marvel 2 is the best in the whole series despite it's crazy infinite combo stuff. I hope with this series Justin teaches us so we can actually hold our own in battle. Sick of losing to these infinite combo dudes. Much love and respect to sensei Justin. 🙏 Once again thank you.

I had this same offer when I was growing up from some Vietnamese friends of mine. They're HELLA good and used to win locals in arcades back in the day. I'm 41 now.

i remember seeing the MvCs cabinets when i went to the arcade but they always looked so intimidating so i stayed away from them yet i always felt attracted to those games, the pixel art was always awesome and the music always bumping and hyping the matches displayed on the screen. I totally regret skipping those games because i decided to give this collection a try and MAN i'm having the most fun in any fighting game i always had, ofc i can feel that cheapness of old games that were designed to grab all your quarters and leave you with frustration but even with that it's fun, obviously as a scrubby casual i just mash buttons to win and most of the time i don't know what's going on but hey at least i'm trying to learn the games lol, i don't really feel confident to go online for now but tbh that might change as time passes because, as i said, this games are really fun to play and enjoy and i wouldn't mind getting schooled and bullied by all those seasoned players out there. As they say even the worst beating leaves a learning so yeah, i'm up for it

Oh man Justin, that assist section was exactly what I needed. Definitely saving this vid to refer back to all the time.

That section with the rundown of each character's strengths was so good. I'm going to reference that like crazy.

I thought he’d just be talking but this was well edited with great info! Justin, only thing I’d say was maybe slow down the assists part and the one showing what characters can do. I also really like how you showed the movements on the controller. Wish you had for the end part.
