In this SMITE Guide, we're exploring new SMITE God Jormungandr as support, solo, jungle & mid from mostly a Conquest perspective. But don't worry, you can easily implement this guide into other game modes such as Arena, Joust, Assault, Siege, Clash etc.
We'll be covering Jormungandr's abilities, combos, attack cancelling, builds, counters, what not to do and general combat tips.

BIG SNEK BIG SNEK Here's a tiny tip though when playing him that I find really usefull, mainly when you're boxing/ in solo. Look down. Like just angle the camera down when fighting a 1v1, it does restrict your peripheral vision so a gank might be harder to see, but it seriously helps to tell what the enemy you are boxing is doing since you can see them easier by looking OVER Jorm not through himm

Good tip: place your toxic clouds in areas you plan to fight ahead of time. Placing them mid fight can limit your effectiveness

I generally put Mystical Mail on Jorm simply to add to his damage. That and life steal, which is odd at first, until I discovered that even if the enemy has anti heal, you still get small sticks of health from your AA. Bancrofts has saved my life more than on one occasion while in solo. For when I do Solo: Blessing, CD boots, Bancrofts, either Mystical Mail or Void Stone depending on enemy, either another defense item or damage (pen or alternate defense when the middle match begins), Mantle of Discord for extra defense, replace my blessing for a Soul Reaver, get SP and sell boots for a situational item. Jorm is sure versatile.

Jorm main here, my favorite thing about jorm is juking chasers with his submerge, I'll head into jungle, submerge and then slip behind them without them having a clue

Ik this game has been out for a while and I just started playing it and maining him but one of the many tips I could give is always start with his poison spit then either use his submerge to add 2 more poison rings and if you want lastly use his other ability idk the name. That’s the first combo I’ve been using to dominate games BUT only use this if you know how your teammates play. Second combo/strategy I’ve been using is the what I like to call the team isolation. Basically what you wanna do is the combo I mentioned before but instead of place the two new poison rings behind the original one you wanna get in the right angle to to place the 2 new rings to left or right of the original ring making a sorta half square then what your going to do is use that great ult you got and jump to the other side where there are no rings and start by adding more rings behind your enemy causing them to take even more poison than before.

Jorm is probably the most fun god to play as. People forget to use his 3 after using his 1. Using his 2 with three clouds present will frag, even if you don't build any damage items.

You should use your ult as both engagement escape and harass You can use your first two landings to stack the enemies then use your third to get out, then go invisible and get the bonus two toxic clouds then use your roar (I really don’t know his ability names) And that will pretty much kill the enemy if not you can always enter a turret since he is very tank or if your cool down is up use the toxic cloud then invisibity

Hey Teeds! Jorm main here! You are the bomb and I recommend all your videos to my friends! Let me return the favor by adding in some of my own tips! Thank you again! So I don’t know if it’s just me, but it seems as if Jorms auto attack damage is horrendous on things like towers and objectives. I mean straight awful, even when using it when it is full and not like sputtering at the bottom of its attack speed. Anyone else? A serious issue when taking towers in early game. Also his ultimate will separate the decent to veteran Jorm players. This thing is broken!! Especially when you invest in some cool down reduction, the ult can win you games. First, I recommend practicing this is in arena. It’ll give you the challenge of hitting and sniping moving targets and mostly back line champions, which this ability obliterates. Remember, the Ult deals damage on entry and where you land, and significantly more damage where you land, and there is no better ult then using this tower diving. Two of the three “jumps” use under tower, then one to escape to totem range in solo. Pretty freakin cool. Lastly. Warlock staff is a great great item on this beast. 500 health, 200 mana, 105 magical power by like the 17 minute mark or so. It makes you huge and also strong at damage dealing by mid game. @@gregm2693 void stone, breastplate, genjis guard, gem of iso, midgard mail can be good, even ethereal staff, all good pick ups. Warlocks just isn't worth getting becuase all it takes is for the enemy hunter to buy qins and render that item useless

Jorm is definitely a good flex pick with where he is able to play. I did not know all the effects of his 2. Good info. I prefer to use his 1 and zone ppl out of lane as opposed using his 2 early. That’s just me though 😅

To clear with Jorm, especially for solo, hit the enemy with a couple ticks of your basics. This gets the minions to attack you, making the melee's follow you, walk to the archers and to group up all the minions, from there you can clear easily with basics and 2.

I've had and given so many heart attacks because what is basically an angry cruise ship that wants to kill you Pops over a wall and slams into you dealing half your health, does it a couple more times, then when you try to run the other spits a deathclaw about you or goes underground and pops up next to you finishing you off.

I have been shredding with him after I saw this video at first I was getting barely any kills and getting killed like 15 times then I saw this guide and man I’ve been getting 15+ kills a game and barely dying he is by far my go to choice when playing I just use his 1 then 3 then 2 and my enemies are either dead or if they’re alive I finish them with his basic or his ult it’s simple
