3.5” lift. 37s on a 2021 JL Rubicon. No suspension problems. Been running that combo for 3 yrs dealer serviced and again no issues. One you get over 3.5” and 37s is where the problems live.

The Mojave trim with 4:10s will handle 37x12.50s without regearing or a lift (as long as you aren't doing major rock crawling or needing extreme articulation). If you need a lift for full articulation, a 2" spacer lift kit will do without having to change your FOX shocks. You'd also want 9" wide wheels with a minimum -12 offset. Oh, mpg isn't much different from 35s (if you calibrate/flash computer for 37s). Hope this helps! Go for the 37s! You know you want them and Christmas is coming 😉

Thorough video. Good job. For those looking to mitigate some of this, I’d suggest the AEV lift which solves a few of these problems. Also, staying away from negative offset wheels reduces the changes to scrub radius , saving wear and tear. (+25mm). Setting these minor recommendations aside, everything in here is spot on.

I appreciate you uploading. I'm building a JTRD on stock axles. The way I would do it if I could go back and start over is: geo correction, springs, triple bypass shocks and 37s on some beadlocks. You'll have tons of fun for minimal investment and then can just upgrade as necessary. The consensus, among the prerunner forum I've been to, is that if you do axle shafts, guss and trusset the axle then you don't need 1 tons or hydorassist. Couple of things I'm doing: I'm utilizing a geometry correction even with Synergy Stage 3 kit and I'm not regearing but instead I'm going Stage 2 - 300WHP 550WTQ.

Great Video by the way, I am currently thinking on 35 or 37 move. So if you were to do it today, would you still do 37" ? or just go 35" with a ~3" lift, which allows you to keep most of it (regear from 3.73 to 4.10 maybe?)? What would be a good choice? Since moving to 37, mostly, means after tear and wear of components, mostly.

Honestly, I love my 3.5 lift and 37s look amazing on JTs, however it's a slippery slope and eventually it costs money on parts. Heck I'd do a 2.5 lift and 35s all day esp for a daily driver. Then replace stuff as needed. You could ride 373s w 35s way longer than on 37s. You may be disappointed w anything less than 4.88 and 5.13s on 37s. Kinda depends on your pockets and deep they are ! Both look great 👍🏼

No not really. If you aren't hard on it, then the parts will last much much longer. My friend has 40s w 373s and runs all stock steering and ball joints. His performance is down, but he's a mall crawler and takes it easy so everything is doing fine. Most people just replace as needed. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

Hey man, I’m new to the Jeep brand, I was wondering what PSI would my 37s need to be at for the tire warning light to stop showing? Hope to hear from you soon!
@TXJeepDad
@TXJeepDad Жыл бұрын
Generally anything below 28 psi my light comes on. If you have 37s you also need to change the tire size diameter in the computer so your speedometer will be accurate. (You may already have, but if not then...) You can use a Tazer or J scan and it will also let you set the tire psi you want (so the light wont come one anymore). So you could set it at 20, 25, 28.. literally any number you want. (Tazer mini not tazer lite) Also PSI can differ greatly depending on tire load rating etc. Look up "How to Chalk test tires" to find the ideal PS for your tire. That will help you dial it in for even tire wear 👍🏼

Guys i got a question. So I have a 2022 Jeep Gladiator Sport S with an ecodiesel motor. I have a 2" mopar lift kit on it and i have installed rubicon fenders so i have more space between the wheen and the fender to allow me to put bigger wheels. Question is because my jeep is not a rubicon and doesn't have the same gearing, what would i need to do to run 37" wheels? I really dont want 35's. If anyone knows, please let me know.
@TXJeepDad
@TXJeepDad Жыл бұрын
Just run it. As you do things where you need more power then consider regrearing. You don't have to do it right away or at all if it's not a concern for your driving style. Especially that Eco ! It's a beast. I doubt you will have to regear as you already have a very capable set up. 😉 Your good, send it ! 37s or 35s would be perfect w that lift

I appreciate you watching, Have you swapped out the factory Drag Link and factory Tie rod yet? (Factory steering components) if not Id start there. The factory parts just can't handle the weight of the 37s for long. For me I instantly knew I was going to have to change OEM stuff fast. My steering is awful now. Next Monday I'm getting 2.5 ton RPM tie rod and drag link installed and I'll do an update vid w results. I also am swapping out the ball joints, adding sector shaft brace and new steering stabilizer.
