Soaking Water Proof Wood In Water And Lighting It On Fire

I Soaked Pine Knot in water for 3 days to see if it would still work for fire tinder. I wanted to test the limits of Pine Knot AKA Fatwood and see how far it can be pushed in wet conditions. I'm soaking another one for 100 days to see if it will make it unusable. If you are ever in the wood and come across dead pines cut them open and check for Pine Knot.
