Melody Adams from MelodyCrochet.com takes you #step-by-step through her #beginnercrochetpattern for a #soapsaver pattern, the “Sudsy Buddy” pattern! This pattern is fast, easy and takes hardly any yarn. And cotton! Fabulous for summertime when you do not want to be under a bunch of acrylic crocheted fabric. Soap savers are a classic for gifting or keeping for yourself!
The first 4 minutes are an introduction to materials and how I gift these. If you would like to get right to making...video starts at 4:44
The pattern found for free on the blog.
You will get a soap saver that will measure about 2 ½ x 4 inches with a scrubby texture in the center for lathering up a plain or decorative soap! The hanging string is part of the fabric...no need to crochet a drawstring!
Enjoy! and questions and comments are always appreciated down below. Please, use @melodycrochet and/or #sudsybuddysoapsaver so that I can see what you make from the pattern!! I truly hope that I can help inspire you.
