I was extremely shocked about Billy. He is being missed by so many people. GH should have kept him. Even though they play characters, I often thought about him losing a role on GH had anything to do with it. His depression was real. My love to his family.

I was so devastated by Billy Miller. As a society we downplay and don’t do as much as we should with dealing with mental health issues. Three charismatic men, who most likely struggled with their own self worth. May their memory be a blessing.

On the list Billy Miller was one that was really shocked remember when he started out on All My Children and later transition to Young and the Restless playing Billy on that show he was the best betrayal of the character Bailey on Young and the Restless just goes to show you behind the smile you never know what someone's going through.

It saddens me, disturbs me, offends me when anyone takes their own life. Celebrity, soap star, anyone. I think if they knew how much of an impact it would have on those they leave behind, hopefully they wouldn't do it. It is a tragedy. We need everyone! Everyone matters!!!

Actors usually have idol times between acting jobs. It's not always consistent like most jobs. I can see the frustration when no one is calling them for their next acting roll, especially when the bills are pilling up. They might feel that their acting days are over. 😢

Also, u miss some and they are, Benjamin Henderson, best know for his role on Guiding Light, Another World, The City and as Hal Munson on As the world turns , committed suicide in 2006 at the age of 55 , the woman who played Renee Dumont on Days of our lives, the guy who played Marko Dane on One life to live live and General Hospital committed suicide in 2004 ,and there are many more that u forgot about

May all these wonderful men RIP. I'm disappointed that you didn't include Tyler Christopher who played Nikolas casadine for two decades on GH. He sadly died not long after Billy Miller 😢😢 So heartbroken to hear that two of my favorite stars that I grew up with, both died from very similar illnesses 😢😢 It's so true that not enough attention is given to giving people the option to get help if they want. A big reason for that is because many medical insurances don't cover it at all, which is a disgrace. These days an average person cannot afford to pay $100+ per session. I just hope and pray that this will change one day so maybe we'll see less tragedies like these ❤

You left out Peter Burnell, a very popular Mike Powers on the Doctors, who was also on Search for Tomorrow. He had Broadway, off Broadway, and regional theater credits. He hanged himself in 1987.

His death really hit me hard.😢😢 As the sister and daughter of 2 Psychologists, I must say, that the mental health industry needs to make serious changes. Mental illness has been stigmatized for a long time and the people who suffer, are reluctant to seek help. Men, and celebrities have it even worse because they are perceived as "having it all together" and they don't struggle with the same issues as us " normal" folks. Mental illness, is often perceived as happening to the person because they somehow deserved it, or sadly, in some religious circles, seen as a manifestation of demon possession or God's judgement. The brain is a part of your body and as such, it can get sick and diseased just like other organs. In many instances, the people who committed suicide, were crying out for help but their loved ones either didn't notice, or turned a deaf ear to their pleas. When people stop ignoring the stigma and treat mental illness like any other illness, the suicide rate will go down.😮
