Soap with a Skewer Swirl

Very strange how this one turned out, there were 4 layers 2 Orange and two Red, but when your looking at the cut soap, it only shows 2., looks like a fire.

What a beautiful soap with a great color combination. Question..... if you were going to cut the top flat anyway, why couldn't you have just left that beautiful top that you had when you got done with the skewer? I think that we many times loose beauty in an effort to follow this (in my opinion, dumb) unwritten rule that you have to use every last drop of soap in the planned on mold, when you could have easily poured that left over soap into a small flower mold or other small mold. It would not have gone to waste as it could always be cut in chunks or made into smaller confetti pieces to be added to another soap.

Yes, when you are after this type of design, a thin batter wouldn't of worked

if they are large pieces i use them, if small i throw it away...or sometimes ill reuse it in another batch
