Definitely, have just been waiting for some squid to show up. I've never had much luck with White Sea bass without Live Squid. Hopefully, there will be some available in the upcoming weeks.

First fish was actually a starry rockfish, vermilions are a much deeper red.

It's pretty crazy it's actually its air bladder from fishing so deep. We were fishing in 400-600 feet of water. Due to the pressure change the fish's air bladder expands. We use a descending device to release fish that we don't harvest, the device takes them down about 200ft allowing the air bladder to deflate and swim off.
