Protip: If you ride Alpengeist, get on the left side of the train at the loading station; that snap to horizontal right before the trim brakes has gotten pretty jarring as the ride has aged.

Talon is even more quiet. I wouldn't say Apollo's quiet in person it has this Humming noise that spans for miles and Alpie you can literally hear it vibrating but yeah

Apollo's Chariot will always hold a special place in my heart. it was always the first coaster i would ride when i when to Busch Gardens. and for others? probably because it doesn't go upside down. thats why my mother likes it.

Big Bad Wolf's demise was a result of Arrow Dynamics going under back in 2001, it became a maintenance nightmare since Arrow wasn't around to make replacement parts at the time. Now that S&S owns all the Arrow patents they can at least help keep Loch Ness Monster in good shape.

I use this videos as a, Noooo I want to go back to my child Apollo and Alpengheist, I need the g's and airtime, also, I was scared too, untill last year, I recomend riding the smaller eides like invadr a couple of times over and over ro get used to it, then move on to bigger rides like Verbolten, Then loch bess, then eventualy alpengheist, Tip on Alpengheist, you dont get the stomach feeling cause the curved drop pushes you in your seat, and Finally Tempesto, Appolo, Griffon and The one you want to do last, Pantheon

Rode this coaster with my 8 and 11 yr old kids. My 8 yr old almost passed out. This ride was amazing. But I will not be riding it again. Best part of the coaster is being lifted out of your seat. The entire time I was like I need a bigger harness. Pleasantly surprised by the rides here. I am from Ohio so I am a coaster snob. But this place was legit.

It was extremely humid and rainy day when we visited the park. Since rain was in the forecast, we wore sandals instead, so we don't walk in soggy socks and shoes all day. We took off our sandals before getting on the coasters.

On Apollo's Chariot, looks like they repainted parts of the track throughout the ride, but not the entire ride (certain sections). Is part of it repainted or is it just the sun/camera?

I rode on the Apollo chariot quite a while ago and it was scary. I was like 12 though and just big enough. It made me not want to ride roller coasters any more. Then I got over that fear year later after going to different parks and trying less dramatic drops. Now as an adult I would love to revisit. Thanks for the video

There use to be a Busch Garden’s theme park in Van Nuys, CA, where the Budweiser Plant is now off the I-5 in L.A. county, I’ve been there a few times when I was a kid and there was also a tram ride that took us on a tour of the plant and how beer was made, of course I had no idea what beer was but it was a cool tram ride, it had tracks that took us up towards the top of the building so we can see inside how beer was made. Unfortunately the theme park didn’t last that long. I think there was competition with Six Flags Magic Mountain, Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland. I’m not sure why the theme park closed down... btw, one of my good friend’s went to CAL POLY but in San Luis Obispo, My hubby is from that area, so after we got married, I left Torrance to live in SLO! We lived near Cal Poly for awhile... Huge difference from growing up in L.A. county! Lol. Thanks for sharing! I still love a good roller coaster! 😁💖
