we were looking for the 3:46 part at least 1hour on the internet on what is the use of that wclip starting from not even knowing its name. We had broken gas cable and when trying to replace it, that clip fell on the ground and we had no clue how we should put it back. This video saved us thanks.

Great video's. Thanks for the hard work and sharing. One suggestion, go to your local welding supply store (or harbor tool) and get a set of oxy/acetylene tip cleaners. They are cheap and will clean any size jet quick and easy. Thanks again.

Can you elaborate a little more on where all fuel lines need connected and the over flow and drain what to do with those?

I got a '85 110 for a while back and I'm slowly putting it together. I've picked up a new tank, front fender, headlight, spark plug, and an Amazon carb. The problem I am having is that I can only get it started by giving it a shot of starting fluid. Once it's started it runs ok, but as soon as I turn it off I have to give it another shot of starting fluid to get it started again. I've messed with the idle adjustment and the fuel/air mixture adjustment with no luck. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

When you get it running, does it idle ok with the choke off? If not you might make sure the jets are clear. Especially the idle jet. It has a very tiny hole and can easily get clogged up. I use a bristle pulled out of a wire brush to get into the hole. Good luck.

SoCal Bruce yes it idles ok with no choke. I just finished cleaning it but, I'll give it another shot. Thanks for the reply. And thanks for the detailed videos!

The choke on mine is loose and every time I hit a bump it falls down, closes, then dies. Do you know how to fix that?

Does the idle jet have a hole all the way thru? Mine was clogged if it does.....and I still cant get it to hold a decent idle
@SoCalBruce10 жыл бұрын
Yes, the hole does go all the way through. And it is a very tiny hole - smaller than a pin or needle. But it has to be clear for the engine to idle without the choke on. You can buy something from Honda to clear them out or you can take the bristle from a wire brush. It is very small and will fit through. But it tends to bend. So what I do is to put the jet in the chuck of a drill and hold the wire with a pliers. Then spin the jet until the wire brush goes through and comes out the other side of the jet. I have heard that you can also use heat from a torch. But I have never tried this. Let me know if this works. Merry Christmas.

Hey Bruce. How the heck do you get the seats off these with our damaging them? We've got an 82' 110 that needs some carb attention. Thanks man!
@SoCalBruce9 жыл бұрын
+Jennifer Charlton-Dennis: The seat? Look at video 7 of 12 in this series toward the end (11:30). It shows the catch that releases the seat. You will find it under the front part of the seat on the right hand side. You move the lever to undo the catch and pull the front of the seat upward. There are a couple of hooks at the rear that will slide off the grab bar mount at the rear and the seat will come off.

I sent a message about the lights not coming on to a 81 honda ATC 110, does the cdi box have anything to do with light problem ?

How would you rejett this carb?? I have an atc 110 and I just got a dg performance exhaust for it and my engine is running really lean
@SoCalBruce9 жыл бұрын
Jacob Mitchell I haven't rejetted a carb to a richer jet. But there couldn't be much to it. To remove the jet, simply remove the float bowl and unscrew the main jet (the larger one). There are a lot of videos out there which show the jets. In fact I made one. it is number 10 of the ATC 110 reassembly series that I made a year or so ago. Have you found out where to get larger jets?
