My family and I are going to Disneyland in 5 days! Almost every single night we have watched your videos on universal studios and Disneyland, we are doing a 7 day vacation in LA. We are from Montana, so we have watched all of the saving money videos! You have been the BIGGEST help for us to have a nice fun trip! Thank you Travor! We appreciate it!

Piloting on Smugglers Run with my sister was one of my favorite memories at Disney! We ran into the queue like 1 minute before park close, didn’t have any engineers, and got the worst score my sister has ever seen (and she works in the parks so she goes a lot) 😂😂 I was the right pilot and I guess I wasn’t paying attention when I was supposed to press the launch button, so we just sat there drifting in space for like 10 seconds until my sister yelled at me to push the button lol

What tips do you have for couples going to Disneyland and California Adventures? How do you plan to get the most out of the trip? Just came to Disneyland and DCA 17-20 June after our visit at 2022 (the pandemic), soo much fun, we rode ALL the rides in 2 days. The most fun in DL was Rise of the Resistance and in DCA it's Guardian of the Galaxy. We are 9,000 miles from Anaheim so it was worth it. Anaheim was hot at noon altho windy in the morning and evening. 😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉

Hi, can you please tell me if it’s worth spending more money to purchase tickets to visit Disneyland Friday - Saturday at the end of July, versus Tuesday - Wednesday to avoid crowds?
@SoCalDisneyDad3 ай бұрын
It’s hard to say for that week. Tuesday/Wednesday will still fall under the discount tickets that they are offering right now which might make it busier, but sometimes the weekends are still busy. Saturday might be better though because I think only the highest level of magic key holders can get in which might make it pretty manageable. Can’t really guarantee either way.

Would you recommend rope dropping Guardians or wait about an hour like you suggest for Rise?
@SoCalDisneyDad4 ай бұрын
@@erichirschmann There’s no hard and fast rule there. But Guardians does tend to have a slightly higher wait at rope drop on DCA early entry days because it’s the only major attraction open. After Radiator Springs Racers and Toy Story and the like opens it spreads out more. But nothing quite has the effect that Rise does. RSR itself is like Rise in a way, but that line only gets longer and never shorter. I’m not sure what causes them to differ. It could be the proximity in that Rise is deep in the park away from everything else and RSR is more centrally located. So you have people targeting Rise at rope drop, but afterwards, people are just doing their thing and will get there eventually. Whereas RSR always has people moving through the area and hopping in line. But Guardians should stay low for at least 30-60 minutes in the AM.

I hate watch this channel. Technically the information is useful if it's fact based. But the reviews are always Luke warm and the attitude is generally "meh" and way too short line focused. I really wish there were any disneyland vloggers that were excited to there, giddy for the atmosphere and truly loved being there as much as I do. I realize he represents a vast majority of disney customers and he definitely produces high quality videos. I just wish it had a more positive tone most of the time. Ps. I wish the kids were not put on camera and forced to participate either but their not my kids, it's just sad what the internet can do to a child's image.
@SoCalDisneyDad4 ай бұрын
@@darkandstormymama I love being at Disneyland. And I have had absolutely amazing food that I gush about (the POG Punch at the beginning of the video?). But I absolutely do also tell it like it is. No camera face or lies. Nothing fake going on here. If something is bad, I’m going to say it is. I’ve seen enough vloggers ooo and ah about a food item or drink on camera and throw it away off camera telling their friend it was gross. That’s not me and it never will be. As for the kids, I don’t force them. In fact, I usually opt to leave them out of it for the large majority of the time. They featured a little more prominently in our last food video only because the previous food video I got hate because “I wasn’t feeding them” or “letting them have any” just because it wasn’t on camera people believed it never happened. But mostly I do tend to leave them out unless it’s intended for them to be a part of it, and they’ve never expressed a desire to not be on camera or I wouldn’t do it at all.
@darkandstormymama4 ай бұрын
@SoCalDisneyDad they are uncomfortable being put on the spot every time, but again, they are your kids, your life. You see it one way because you have a biased view of your content. I'm speaking as a viewer of that content and it doesn't read to everyone the way it reads to you. "Telling it like it is" is doesnt have to be so abrasive either. I'm saying your constant negativity is a bummer to watch for someone who simply doesn't feel that way about disney that you do. You do have *some* content that really is useful and I do watch your videos even though it usually ends up with me venting to my husband about it afterwards. Being on the world wide tube means you will get criticism for things you do that rub people the wrong way, it's just how it is. Just be happy you get my ad revenue because I've binged most of your content even though it isn't always enjoyable for me and my specific needs. I don't expect you to love everything, it just gets really old watching you not like anything. Liking juice you can buy at almost any grocery store (at least in vegas) isn't really a disney specific experience. I appreciate you taking the time to respond to me line by line though.
@SoCalDisneyDad4 ай бұрын
@@darkandstormymama And I appreciate the feedback and the reply as well. Thank you! I will keep it in mind and see if I can put a more positive spin on things. I will give you a heads up, though, Friday’s video is all about going to Disneyland and ignoring everything I preach here on the channel. So that means waiting in long lines, ignoring wait times, ignoring the app in general. And that leads to some frustration at times. 🤣 But I feel like we still had a really fun day, and I do hope that comes across in the end.
