I agree that the price is beyond what it needs to be, but this seems *soley* targeted at out-of-town folks who have limited days and set one day to "ride jam"- when you're $5k in, may seem worth it to guarantee all the rides you want to get in.

For a 150.00 dollar lightning fee i would only get it if it was unlimited lightning lane then also park hopper would be worth it. 1 time is not worth it.

For me, LL Premier Pass is a non-issue, it’s for the mega rich so the rank-and-file are not going to purchase it, it’s like Club 33 which is for the super mega rich, why worry about the cost since I won’t get it unless I win the lottery

Spot on. Disney didn’t price this for the average consumer. I think they’d have made more money if it were in the $150-$200 range, but what do I know? 🤷🏻‍♂️

First time we used this option(still called genie plus then) I didn't know that you could only use it once per ride, so being at dca first thing in the morning we just started booking rides, the staff were very nice and told me oh no just get in the stand by don't use that yet😂

I know you don’t recommend rope dropping Pirates since the ride is long and can waste the golden hours time BUT one time we didn’t listen and went straight to Pirates for fun lol and we were literally the first people/boat and we thought that was pretty cool just like how you felt with Space Mountain in this video lol. Sometimes it’s just fun to “Break the rules” lol. Thanks for your video Traver! 😊

We rope drop Space at 8am with LL! It can save 15 minutes which matters to us in the first hour - we find LL to be awesome the first hour! We never use all LL sso may as well use as many as possible is out theory. You never know when a line will form or a ride willl go down so we see LL as insurance. I always get bonus LL due to rides down.

It was a very wise choice on Space Mountain. I still feel like the others were a waste in that first hour since I didn’t skip anything. But Space was great.

SoCal Dad…..I too feel that the Premier Pass is way too expensive. My family of ten go to Disneyland at least twice a year and if we were to purchase these passes at $400 per person for three days, that comes out to $16,000. We are sticking to the Genie plus at $30-$36 per person. What was Disney thinking?

If we have a child in our party that is too short for one of the lighting lanes rides can another rider use it?

@@rolaskaton9966 In theory, but shouldn’t that party member have their own lightning lane anyway? Or you mean to ride it a second time? In that case, you’d be better off getting a rider switch pass which allows them to take another party member with them. The trouble with hanging on to that lightning lane for the child who can’t ride, is you can’t book a new lightning lane for the whole group until you’ve used all of them. So you’re better off clearing them all out when the first group rides, and ask for a rider switch for the adult that sat out so they can go and take another person with them.

@@Bennett7777 As you saw, 280 was what I got in this video. I’d call that my average. If you know how to hit that, I don’t necessarily have any additional tips. I get most of my points on the rocket ship level from getting it to launch. I’m sure there are hacks like that on every level but I don’t know them. I average 30k points on the other levels and 80k on the rocket ship level.

Fyi, VIP tours have some fluff time to do snacks and stuff. They might get 6 or 7 rides in 7 hours not much more, at least from some of the content I have seen. Not to say I think LLPP is not even close to being worth the price point.

I would much rater do a vip tour then ever buy premiere pass because with VIP you are not constrined to once per ride and I thnk you also get dripks and curros or something maybe so idk. I would just get 10 friends and split the cost.

From the reviews I've previously watched of VIP tours, they do limit the number of re-rides on some of the top rides to one or two, but at least you can go between parks. And apparently you get a few snacks now, though some older reviews said they had to buy their own snacks.

@socaldad you should put together park experiences where you have total of 10 people(subscribers) and do the VIP tour with them cost is divided by each person. cruise content creators do this kind of things called them group cruises.

@@yms1974 I’ve thought about this. I actually have a VIP Tour business card in my wallet for calling them to get details. I just haven’t made any effort to start to realize that. I think first steps are gauging interest from you all first. Making sure we’d have 9 people willing to do it, etc.
