@@richardpadoa1982 I think you're kinda missing the point on this comment. Angelina Jordon has a fine voice, but Billie has a massive, young fanbase. If she puts even one jazz standard on her next album, more people will hear it than have heard all the jazz crooners collectively since the other Billie passed away. You must know that jazz has become a niche genre with a relatively small, but very dedicated following. I would like to see jazz receive more exposure, personally.

She kind of did that to herself though. She almost never sings outside of the breathy falsetto so why would anyone know she can do anything else? The wildest thing about this, it's just raw, pure, live - nothing but the artist. I would pay a ridiculous sum to see Billie back to back with Hiromi, Anthony Jackson and Steve Smith all on the same stage, that'd be a lifetime event for sure.

Just WOW! I'm an old man who thinks Billie Eilish is the total package. I grew up listening to my parents play the Peggy Lee rendition of "Fever" on their stereophonic hifi. I've heard all of the covers from many singers, and there are many out there, and Billie's version is easily the Best. Mad respect to Beyonce and her cover as 2nd best.

Jan 31, 2024 - I love this by Billie and can't figure out why more REACTORS haven't looked at it if they really want see how gifted a vocalist Billie really is - Christian McBride is really a duet partner with Billie in this cover of Peggy Lee's "Fever" just as he is for the SNL Billie version of "Have Yourself a Very Merry Christmas" with brother Finneas at Piano and Billie's drummer Andrew Marshall on the brushes - what will it take to convince naysayers - actually there is no way to convince them. Billie is as real and true as other gifted singers and thankfully, many who have appreciated and loved other artists from Billie Holiday to Amy Winehouse to Adele to Ariana and Taylor Swift and recognize her gifts and talents - this was a foretaste of the jazzy 20 yr. old Billie learning her craft and sharing it. P.S. I live 190 miles NE of the Peggy Lee Exhiibit in Wimbledom, ND at the MIDLAND CONTINENTAL DEPOT TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM where Norma Deloris Engstrom's father managed the depot and wanted to see the Peggy Lee roots/story before Billie sang at the Hollywood Bowl - Peggy Lees's actual first name same as another great artist/personality NORMA JEAN MORTENSON - MARILYN MONROE - two great Norma(s). [remember Billie's ode to Marilyn Monroe at the Met Gala - VOGUE, Sept. 16, 2021 {perhaps also BARBIE}. Yes, I am a 70 yr. Billie fan because I believe in her gifts and authencity/originality.

Now THIS is brilliant. I was never a fan of the whisper-singing style but this is pure fire. Her silky, smokey voice is just made for jazz.
