50 years on.....such precious film, made all the more poignant by Manfred Schaefer, Atti Abonyi and the great Rale Rasic leaving us behind in 2023 and not making this 50th anniversary. Will for mine always be the greatest performance by an Australian Men's Football (Soccer) Team - they qualified for a 16 Team World Cup Finals Tournament, not the 48 Team free for all we will see in 2026. Thank you Andre.....keeping the faith and fire burning 50 years on....
