That is one of the nicest colorways of this generation's Mercurial. Absolutley love the colors, the contrast with the swoosh and soleplate and the "Nike" on the heel. I find it funny that my top 3 looking Mercurial are all retros: Safari, Future DNA and this. The only "new" colorway that compares to these, in my opinion, are the Terra pack, sand-ish colorway.

Nice boots. I'd love you to cover a revival boot brand, Stylo Matchmakers. Really, really popular in the 1960's/70's and worn by George Best and Pele, Stylo even supplied entire teams such as Leeds United (when they were winning Football League titles) and Arsenal. Brian Clough also wore them and kept pairs of them into the 1980's. A couple of players wear them today (Christian Fuchs of Leicester City being most notable). You've not done some of the more boutique and unique brands and I expect you'd really like them, as you did the Cinquestelle and Patofola D'Oro boots.

That was just a leather grain surface texture. The boots were still Teijin synthetic. Nike did the same thing with certain colorways of the Vapor 8.

They won't stretch as much as regular leather boots. It still has a Flyknit base which won't stretch much at all.

In general, modern leather boots don't soak up tons of water like they used to. The leather is also extremely thin on these.
