How to put on your football boots with grip socks - Tips and Tricks that you need to know!

Grip socks are a great tool to reduce slippage inside of your boots, which will benefit responsiveness,
comfort and simply stopping your socks from sliding down while you're playing. There is one issue though, and that's putting on your boots while wearing grip socks, it's not easy. With that said, while every situation is a little different, if you're really struggling to slip your boots on with grip socks, it's probably because you're doing it wrong!
In this video I share a few tips and tricks that you should know to make this process way easier, making your grip socks experience that much better! Of course I'll be using Pure Grip Socks in this video, but these tips apply to just about any brand or type of grip socks. I hope this information helps!

Have to admit, had a little trouble the first couple of times myself putting my boots on (Vapor 13’s) the first couple of times, but with practice it doesn’t bother me anymore. I love my Pure Grip socks though. Amazing quality sock that is super comfy and no blisters. I used to double sock for comfort (tube sock under my regular long game socks). So now I just play with my one pure grip sock. Good stuff.

Hey Juan, I got a pair of copa 20+ today and upon trying them on they squeezed my midfoot extremely tightly to the point I think it would be unbearable if it were to stay that way. You mentioned them being stiff through the midfoot out of the box. Now is that a sensation that will disappear over the course of the break-in process or will the overly tight fit remain even after broken-in? I am flat-footed and the size of the shoes in length is decent.

They'll certainly loosen up a little after some wear time, any boots will, but the general shape and tightness through the mid-foot won't go away entirely.

The current Mercurials wouldn't be a bad choice. The X Ghosted.1 won't have the same shape, but it will have more of that thin, plasticy feel to the upper, if that's what you're looking for.

You would have to cut the foot part off of your team socks and pull them over your grip socks, basically turning them into sleeves. There are also 2 versions of Pure Sleeves on the website if you don't want to cut your socks, and just want better sleeves in general 👍
