The people's choice is spot on, for me the Adidas Speedflow .1 is the boot of the year - simply outstanding. I used to be a massive Superfly fan but Adidas have taken the speed boot crown now.

The Puma Ultras have killed it in this years awards! Anyone purchased the Puma Ultra 1.3 a size down? I have narrow feet but I have heard the toe box is roomy. Would anyone suggest going a size down? Thanks.

I have the Ultra 1.1 and Ultra 1.3. The 1.3 is actually a little more snug in the midfoot and toe box. It runs just a smidge smaller but not uncomfortable in any way. I think you'll be fine with true to size.

If I could go back I would get the X or Vapor. The Ultra 1.3 has the best upper on the market right now but the toe box is just way too roomy and throws off the comfortability a lot. They nailed every single part of the boot man. The upper is my favorite of any boot ever, the mid-foot and heel area have outstanding lockdown and comfortability. But the toe box is so roomy it throws away the whole boot I was disappointed because the boot is the best ever and an extra roomy toe box ruined it for me. If I go another half size down it will be way too small in the mid-foot.

never wore tiemnpos before but tried out the teimpo 9 pros in the last month of my outdoor season and was massively impressed, and might like to get the elite model if there are any around for next spring. I am cheering for New Balance to come out with something crazy good this year though bc these furons have been pretty great too

I wish Adidas would also use the Carbitex Speedframe with a upper that doesn’t feel barefoot. Not a huge fan of that feel but it’s still possibly to feel fast with a good soleplate and a great fitting upper.

It still hurts me (as it does my feet) that there are people who love plastic :(, we are in an era where leather (k o calf) and knit surpasses plastic, comfort and touch of the ball in a thousand ways. For example, the only thing it works for is rain (in a certain way it better waterproofs the foot), so Puma Ultra in no way can be the boot of the year nor Merc (although it is my favorite silo) the upper and the outsole have remained short on Speedflow, That's why for me Josh is the KZbinr of the year in football boot reviews once again!!!!!

I wouldn't say that any boot in particular is going to help with that. I'd check out Currex Cleatpro insoles though. They offer really nice support and are low-profile enough to fit properly in football boots.

The takedown models definitely have a shallower fit to the heel, but I don't find that to be the case with the .1 and + models.

I think it depends what you're looking for. I've tried the neo (elite version, not the MIJ) and the m8. Neos feel really modern, kinda snug at midfoot. M8s are more comfortable, feel like classic ones but still perform reallyyy well. Personally I'd go for the m8.

I'm currently wearing the Rebula3 MIJ, just feeling a bit "soft" when hitting the ball, doesn't feel “straight" at all, that's why I put beta into consideration. I personally prefer M8 cuz its entire leather upper and most importantly, I'm a big fan of Kroos. 11pro you knwo
