Shame that adidas and nike can't put out leather boots like they used to. F50s with the leather toe box were much better than the synthetic versions.

Hello, which do you recommend for people with a bit of a wide foot? I want the one that is the easiest to break into because i had an Adidas X Speedportal and i had some trouble breaking into those but the F50 and Crazyfast seem wider a bit wider. Thanks.

Dont get adidas boots since all the speed boots are for narrow feet. If you want strictly adidas then go for the predators. If your fine with going throught different brands for speed boots, go for nike instead. Their vapors are perfect for every foot shape

I have a vapor 15 and CrazyFast elite, personally I’m going for the F50s over the Vapor 16, but I guess waiting for a Vapor 16 review is good too. But I think the Vapor 16 will just feel the same as the Vapor 15, so I’m taking the F50s for sure (personally preferred the CrazyFast over the Vapor 15s)

how do these boots compare to nike mercurial's by fit. If I wear the mercs now so should I go true to size with these f50 elites? Cause looking at the sizes by cm, the f50 elites are 0.5 cm shorter than the mercs( which is half a size down compared to f50's)

US sizing is the same between X, F50 and Mercurial.

Is the soleplate on the new F50 similar in fell and flexibility to the Speedframe we saw on the X 18 and 19 generation? I feel the X 18.1 is often overlooked. There is some give and take here, but it looks like the F50 is a better rounded boot.

So long story short it's just a step sideways in a different direction, so not necessarily backwards or forwards just sideways. I can't lie I was expecting more since its been over a decade since the initial release of the f50s so I was hoping they'd be able to build off of something like the speedflow and make a boot that incorporated all that worked with that while having elements of the older f50 because sure the name f50 is nostalgic but it's also 2024 like it isn't lighter than the crazyfast + it isn't necessarily better than the crazy fast + so what real reason do people have to buy it other than nostalgia. As of now Puma have been more interesting with their recent launch with the carbon fibre
