What a boot! I wore my first pair today and there was guy who said he wanted to buy shoes like mine to be faster. He never before said something like this to me or about me. How much space do you have in your boot? I have about a fingers width in mine. I have the adidas predator freak + and .1, but the + is a 9 and is super snug. .1’s feel way better because I have more space. Is that too much space though?

That's too much space, you should have no extra space in the length or at least a quarter of a thumb width if you need it, football boots as a whole are designed to fit tight or snug because you are moving a lot making hard lateral cuts etc, and you need to have a responsive sensation out of them.

Got the bonded pack superfly 9, same size as I did with the superfly 7 & 8’s and OMG these are really tight/narrow. Everyone is saying these are wider. I also experienced heel rubbing from beginning. Tried breaking them in for a few days like previous mercurials but they still cause me pain. Everything else about the upper & the zoom unit is as good as everyone is saying. Did they make the bonded pack more narrow?

imho it's not needed for well kept grass fields or newer AG fields. AG fields that are not too old have good cushion. however this would be nice for run down old AG fields that hurt your knees after playing on it. Also as basketball player so I love Zoom air, for running/training too. Happy Nike is bringing this to the pitch!

Merc became wider and comfy, but in return lost the sleeky tight uncompromising for speed sensation (like jay mike said) which was the main character of merc. This started with vapor 14. I think I like speedflow+ better now

The merc is still a little bit tighter, you can see when Josh in this video have them side by side, the mercurial has a narrower soleplate and even is slightly shorter in lenght vs the x's.

Such as the X15 to X16, 2014 to 2015 Adizero, and X19 to X Ghosted. Nike with the Mercurial has been consistently refining the concept.
