Honestly, the tiempo with synthetic leather is so good and fits my feet so well. I got them in the 30 year anniversary edition (Emerald). I prefer them over my vapors.

I’ve got the phantom GX2s in blackout but I swear they feel really deep at the front of the boot - like the length is good but compared to GX1, I’ve bought the same size but I feel like they’ve got so much room. I don’t know if I’m used to them being tighter on older models, but they feel so roomy and different

I’m not 100% sure about that specific colorway, but I have several colorways, including the silver ones in this video, that are listed as synthetic on Nike’s website, but still appear to be and feel like k-leather. It’s a confusing one, but as far as I’ve seen so far, they’re all still made from real leather.

I have both GX2 and tiempo 10 Elite. For me the tiempo 10 is way better. I'm selling the GX2 as i'm only using the Tiempo 10 now!

They have a better lock on the feet, and this new fly touch technology gives you the feel of leather but with a thinner and lighter upper that's really similar to a speed boot. The only thing i would change is the outsole, i would like a stiffer outsole to have more of that feeling of a speed boot, but overall for me is a better boot.

@@Nico-dr8ki I have a bit of a wider foot so the lockdown for me was great to be honest. I also wear grip socks so that helps a lot more as well. I just enjoy the feeling of the grip knit on the ball but maybe I’ll try some tiempos

For the mercurial is it normal for the 1st couple of times wearing them for the bottom of your feet to hurt? Is it due to the air pocket?

I'd say that's fairly normal when wearing any new boots for the first time. I don't think it's because of the zoom unit. Probably just your feet getting used to a new shape, and possibly a tighter fit in certain spots.

Unpopular opinion: I have been a tiempo user my whole career, I thought it was similar enough that I felt that I was wearing a leather knowing well that it was synthetic, stops using them though because I realized it got narrower and now use the gx 2 bc it’s stretches bit nicer

This is the most delusional list ever it depends on your position in football, if you are a defender you don’t want a boot that is light, you want a thick boot like the premier 3 or the tiempo, if you are an attacker you want a light boot

The boots your feet have no clue what position you play. Also, in terms of impact protection, you might be a little disappointed by how thin both the Premier and Tiempo uppers are. Boots by position is nothing more than a suggestion, not a rule. If you're a winger and the Mercurials are horribly uncomfortable for you and not what you like the feel of, you should not wear Mercurials.
