First time hearing this song and I've been a fan of Social "D' since the 80s. Love it!

I was thinking the same thing. They're not huge in the world of justin bieber or cardi b. But why would real musicians be huge to scum bags and wanna bes

This wasn't Social Distortion. It was Mike Ness released it on his solo album Cheating At Solitaire. It was a bonus track that was only included on the vinyl release. But it is a great song and one of my favorites by him or Social D.

For whatever reason, My all time favourite. Stayed with me that night years ago when I couldnt believe it wasnt a chosen track. I did see it as a bonus track on a coloured release of "sex" I believe it was; sold out by the time I got the cash. I always thought a cover of Springsteen's "Darkness" could possibly surpass Bruce's....

They also played for a little less than 1,000 people in Curitiba, Brazil, the next day (I was also there) and the show was better in a smaller place, like it was supposed to be.

Yes I can't imagine seeing them in a crowd of 10,000 people, the smaller 500 - 2,000 venues are so much cooler.

@42crimson Heck no I'm a long time listener, since like 1990, just find it hard to see that many other bands have made it BIG as in sales and dollars, with far less talent than SxDX or Mr Ness himself. Although I have stated before that seeing SxDx on a big stage in front of like 10,000 plus people wouldn't be the same at all. Therefore I find it strange they aren't bigger but glad there not.

I'd say its a self fullfilling prophecy as to why they aren't bigger. Go back and look at his old interviews. He's stated that he wanted to be around in 20-30 years and that avoiding trends was always important. Motley Crue was "huge." They embraced the 80's trends.....and look where they are now. Somewhere between heaven and hell i guess...or nowhere at all....lol.... The punk rock beginning is what made the band who they are....but also limited their audience for over a decade.

They played for about 6,000 people in São Paulo, Brasil, in april 2010, and the only reason there was not 10,000 people there is because the place wasn't large enough. I was there.
