Capo on the second fret. Then play the D A E chord shapes at the capo and then the 5th fret power chord position. Mike Ness loves the second position capo and that’s how he plays it.

Mike Winfield he does play it like that but chances are its because his guitar is tuned to C# capo on the second brings it to D# . My guitar is always tuned to D# so for standard tuning i play with a capo on the 1st fret. It throws alot of people off . But his video is right except for 1 chord in the bridge . There is 4 chords in the bridge not 3 the 4th is an Em relative to the tuning

Mike Ness generally uses open chords with a capo for a lot of his rhythm to get a bigger and noisier sound. Capo 1st and play out of open Dmajor.

I'm pretty sure my guitar and your guitar sound different from one another. It would help if you explained before the video that you are not in standard tuning.
