Pissed off with passion & heart. For all the retro throwback outfits before & after the White Light era was the pinnacle of punk rock’n’roll. Change my mind

I never understood why this great song was only released 14 years later as a studio song on "Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes" - and then as a bonus track. Maybe because the lyrics are about love, but Mike Ness has often turned out to be a hopeless romantic (e.g. "Making Believe").

You say that you’re hurting from all the loves before You’ve locked away your heart behind a steel door You don’t wanna hear about it Talk about it Or think about it Well, who the hell really wants to? I see the young lovers, they’re walking in the park They’re holding hands and making plans And kissing in the dark Am I a true romantic? Or am I just a fool? Yea, you can run away But I won’t run no more [x2] And when you’re sick and tired of playing all the games And now you realize that nothing’s gonna change You said you wanted less, but you really wanted more There comes a time in life when you must finally tell yourself I won’t run no more You say that you’re hurting from all the loves before You’ve locked away your heart behind a steel door You don’t wanna hear about it Talk about it Or think about it Well, who the hell really wants to? Yea, you can run away But I won’t run no more [x2] She said, “You can run away, yea Like you did a thousand times before”
