The virus channels started with a suisei clip channel called suisei virus, it was supposed to be an in joke amongst the holo community referencing the fact that her fans are so rabidly down bad for her specifically, because she doesn’t partake in the usual lewd vtuber shenanigans which intern makes them desire her more. The channel became fairly popular, causing an influx of copy channels specifically revolving around a single hologirl, as you can imagine the whole point of the virus moniker was the show the complete and total dedication to that specific member, But, like most trends, it gets diluted from the original purpose, is lost, and then becomes filled with drama in fighting, that’s what’s happening here
