Michael could produce himself and, when he wanted to work with a producer, he only needed one per song. 2. Michael wouldn’t even have a whole album receive mixed reviews like CLB. 3. Michael wouldn’t do the same thing over and over again. Have you ever heard Drake do a rock song? Has Drake ever conducted an orchestra or done a humanitarian song? 4. Michael didn’t need five writers and five producers for each song as a crutch. Michael wrote many international hit songs by himself. 5. Do you know what time of year it is? It’s Halloween season, which means that it’s time for Thriller and “Thriller” to become hits again. Talk about staying power. 6. Why do we only compare Drake to MJ when people get caught in the moment of a new Drake album? Michael hasn’t had a new album in a long time. 7. I mean Michael broke all those records in the 80‘s when there was competition like Queen, Whitney Houston, AC DC, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Prince and so many more. All the music icons are mostly from the 80‘s. And back then you really had to be able to sing because there was no autotune. Michael has so many iconig things whether it‘s his singing or his moves or looks. Just to call some: his „hee hee“, spins, moonwalk, his standing on his toes, his one handed glittery glove, his anti gravity, his unique voice, beatboxing, and so much more. Take one thing away and he would still have so many things that make him special. Michael was not only a singer but also a performer and he was hands down the greatest in doing so. Just for a better picture: Biggie nearly cried when he met Michael. Biggie is one of the greatest rappers of all time. Plus Drake‘s records are mostly streams. Michaels records were selling records. For example: just because I bought an album of Michael, it doesn‘t mean I only listen to it once. I think in case of hearing Michael Jackson, Drake is not even close. Michael didnt even have internet or Spotify or something, yet he has consistently 20 Million streamers on average years after! his death! Thriller is in the charts every Halloween. Let me tell y'all a story. In SF Japan town, there is a Benihana's. I remember going there one time when I was in college in the mid 90's. Right at the entrance, there was this wall of fame, where the owner of Benihana's took pictures with whichever celebrity that happened to visit that restaurant. And that wall had a lot of pictures. Singers, actors, athletes, politicians. I want to say there were people like Clint Eastwood, Joe Montana, Billy Joel, Sylvester Stallone. I mean like really, really famous top shelf celebrities. Most pictures were just of the celebrity and the owner (I think his name is Rocky Aioki), and if the celebrity was really famous, more people were in the photos, maybe the owner and the hostess. But lo and behold, that restaurant had a photo of when Michael Jackson visited.... And I swear, the photo that was taken, the whole goddamn restaurant was in the picture. The owner, all the chefs, all the waiters and waitresses even the dishwashers were in the damn picture. It had so many people in the photo that it looked like a football team photo. People who even dare to make this MJ/Drake comparison just don't know how famous Mike was. There are 80 year old ladies in remote villages in China who know Mike. Come on now. Not to disrespect Drake but there are millions of people in the US who have never even heard a single song by Drake.
