Going to be brutally honest, good and bad .. This vid popped up on my feed last several days, I avoided it bc I figured it was going to be another hyper-bro wearing d-bag jacket vid trying to sell a masterclass. I was wrong … Going into 2025, creators in this 5-50k sub range *seem to be working extremely hard to ‘provide value’ without actually providing much info … until you buy the masterclass. This vid was actually opposite. Relevant. Zero hesitation to unpack topic. Real world examples. Legit man, thanks.

I've seen social media rise in my lifetime, but I was always too anxious to post anything there, I'd like to change that. A question - should I focus on one type of content in my feed? Like let's say photography or lifestyle? Or maybe mix in whatever I'm interested in and see what works?

Yes - mix it in to see what resonates. And give it enough room (20-30 posts on any topic or style) to get attention don’t give up after a few don’t work

Hey Oren! A thousand thanks for your content so far and especially this video. I will launch a niche brand (high end baked goods in Germany) in 2025 and your channel helps me a lot to understand good packaging and storytelling and to prepare thoroughly. Is there a luxury/high-end bakery you can think of that fulfills your criteria for good social media? Last Crump fulfills the humor/packaging experience point very well I think. However, I miss the concept format there. There doesn't really seem to be a common thread.

Hey Oren, I've been dying to hear your thoughts about faceless content, specifically for marketing commentary like you do. Some accounts do voiceover with no face and photos to accompany their points, and I'm doing the same, but I'm not getting any likes. The videos aren't even that low quality though. I'm pretty shy and don't want to do the green screen effect. Do you have any ideas for sharing my creative insight without having to show my face? Although I've only shared around 10 of these types of videos, I'm getting very frustrated. Curious to hear your input / how I should pivot...
@orenmeetsworldАй бұрын
Faceless video accounts are more trouble than their worth, low quality subscribers and no brand resonance. If you don’t want to talk on camera carousels and edited videos where you’re in them but don’t talk to camera give you the best shot

That’s how I would approach it - slight design improvements for IG and default captions for TikTok but at the beginning all that matters is to ship that’s nuance for scale

Hi. First. I want to say that I love your content, I “meet" your videos on TikTok and then move from KZbin and ig. I’m really glad for your videos because you give me so much content ideas and inspiration as a creative director, thank you. And this video in particular, I enjoyed the most because it’s all about the themes that I’m going now, but I have a question or a little doubts about for example girl in blue studios I follow her too and I love her videos she has really good ideas and I don’t know if the AI was intentional or not but it’s works for her so cool, but other creatives as me are talking about the same stuff that I immediately thought … when I see this type of content. Like. If I was creative director I make this for this campaign… and then the company actually makes concept -even modify or audaciously take 100% of the original idea- and claim as their own. How I can manage this? In a world when smalls creatives often get zero recognition for their ideas or concepts? Thanksss❤
@orenmeetsworld27 күн бұрын
ideas are only a vehicle for attention - they are not worth anything, they will be taken relentlessly your entire life, the only two ways to get value from them is to act on them or be known as a person that has them

Content about content. Gotta love content. It seems to me like we are in the "fast fashion" era of social media. A lot of fluff and pizzazz, but not much substance or matter. We don't need to live and consume so fast. It should be okay to take things slowly.

@orenmeetsworld29 күн бұрын
I don’t count that as “faceless” I look at that as accounts that are just using other footage to tell their stories without an identity of their own - what you’re doing is interesting

… if you have no dignity. Fact is you can blow up any time you want, the real desire is to get views on things you pursue purely artistically. The contentification of KZbin and other social media is wretched. It’s people making content as a business, not because they necessarily have anything valuable to offer the world.

Bro selling millions of views like that shit easy. Most people who wanna “go viral” end up falling off after a few months. Selling them a dream that a fad is gonna carry them is irresponsible G. You cannot teach creative output that will carry them into a new year. Your first example was with a team with people. You think people gonna always be in something like that? You aren’t grabbing what you’re reaching for. Bro you selling the hustle mindset like it’s 2017. Hit the drawing board again bc what?
