Social Media vs Reality

You didn't have to go to foreign countries to point out this reality. Hawaii is a perfect example. Most people go there expecting Paradise and find that it's very different from what tv, movies, and social media make you think. For example on of Maui's popular surfing beaches looks serene on videos but the camera is pointed to the ocean and one doesn't see that behind the camera it can be grungy, lots of buildings, and often has large planes landing or taking off from the nearby international airport.
