There's so many things I missed out that I wanted to talk about but I guess that's really fitting for the overall message! there is so much nuance and imperfection, we're all so different, practising magic catered and suited to our individual needs, hence why we butt heads sometimes online and come across these problems. One video cannot solve nor address all the problems but its a step of the way there! I'll likely make more videos on the topics touched on in this video in the future, as I rushed some of them in the end because of my dying camera battery 🥲

I def agree regarding the translation of practice to content because so much of it is impossible to share due to the nature of the work. Thank you for your openness! I recognized myself so often in your words. I have a really small KZbin channel and (almost) never do b-roll stuff, except where there's really something to see and it really makes sense. I've sometimes had comments asking why I don't show something, it's so boring 😒 At times like that, I find it really frustrating making videos at all. I like watching other people do it and I'm impressed by how much time and energy goes into it 😳 I just don't have that, so it stays with sit down videos and I understand everyone who keeps it that way. At the end of the day, it's about the info, not the look. And the candles! I feel the same way, you can't get them here in Germany at reasonable prices either, they're all US imports.

I only recently began looking for other witchy creators on KZbin, as I knew I didn’t want to be judging myself and my content against theirs. I am now happy enough with my own creations that I am finally branching out and watching some other “witch-tube” folk

I myself have a very Celtic Ancestory but I was born and raised and live in the United States and I have had a hard time finding other like you and Hearth that are from the USA not the UK not that I don't fallow and love you both and I've followed for years. But I'd love to find other American witch and education. But yes I agree with you and this video.

i sometimes do the instant reaction just to see how wrong i can go :) it´s horrible for ego to go against your better judgement, but as long as you´re not serious, it only takes one night to get over the foolishness! my D&D alignment is chaotic good, so i can be pretty wild but not actually hurtful. such old fashioned design, in my own system you create a personality from 300 villain or hero traits and it keeps changing dynamically all through the campaign (the best way for a designer to be, unpublished but seemingly better than all your competition). if you publish it you´re stuck with it!
