This is why I love the internet! It lets me communicate with people on their level, whether through speech alone, or text alone, or videos! 🤗 I’m an autistic adult that can speak just fine, but it’s so much easier for my brain to manage text-only output. This makes it difficult for me to make friends irl, but I’ve met all kinds of cool and supportive people online! It’s part of the reason I’m so grateful for this channel. It allows people with all SORTS of ways of communicating to reach out and say hello, and give us a way to interact with them in return! 🥰

I love how Sara told Chris to sit on the other side of her, he did, and she looked so satisfied with him. I said to myself, "I think she is really enjoying bossing Chris and is getting a kick out of his doing exactly what she directs him to. " Then her mom came right on saying how she is the bossiest non-verbal child we'll ever see. 😂😂

Everybody talks about how great Chris is. I admit, he treats people with respect, but don’t forget at the end of the day, he gets to go home. These people/families don’t get to just “go home”.. He spends a few hours at most with these families. How often do you think he goes back to spend real time with them?

She clearly understood what he said and she responded correctly. Makes me wonder if they have a speech therapist working with her? I had to scroll for a bit, and I was almost unsure that there would be a video with a kid who has what my littlest sister had, but then I found this and I wasn’t disappointed. She reminds me so much as when I was 6, I had a surgery and I was about to die, there was like so many possibilities that I died. But I just saw everything in a happy and positive way so I made so many friends at the hospital and i learned to play uno in there and just as her I fell in love with the game lol
