I have been holding back tears this entire video. I almost passed it by and didn’t watch! This was so needed. One of the most BALANCED discussions about LGBTQ+ issues I have heard in a lonnnggg time. As a BELIEVER, it helps me understand so much about what we have missed about loving people in JESUS’ name the way He would love them. The transparency, the relativity, so much truth! I am BIBLICALLY reproved, educated and inspired and I don’t even consider myself to be a homophonic Christian. Thank you all!

"God did not call us to change people, but to love them and let Him do the changing." That is one of the most powerful things I have heard in a long time. This whole thing has moved me so much. I am a real Mama bear and am always wishing we would just hug and love folks into the kingdom-older teens and young twenties especially-rather than try to drag, shame or bully them in. A hug goes a long way. I also really felt it-deeply-when she issued an apology for the pastors that hurt instead of loves and encouraged folks to try again. I'm not LGBTQ, I'm just someone who got hurt badly and have shied away. It makes me very emotional that someone took the time to say they're sorry even when it wasn't their fault. Thank you for that, the apology that never came before. That's just huge. I really appreciate what all y'all did today. Bless Social and the ministry of these wonderful men.

My son came to me at 18 yo with his thoughts about being Gay. I felt devastated in my heart, though I wasn't surprised. We talked and cried together. My husband and I remain very close to him. I am also a lesbian, I was told that if I “chose” to be a lesbian, I could not be a Christian so for many years I rebelled against my own faith. Recently I’ve decided I want my faith, I want my children to grow up with Christ in their hearts. I am studying the bible and growing everyday. My sexuality can’t and won’t ever change, but I am so glad you’re having this conversation. I have a friend who went through the same situation in 2011. She said her pastor in the LBGTQ+ church called her a failure. He told her w/o words if she was giving up on her lifestyle as a gay woman there was no reason to come back. She is now engaged to be married to a man & very happy & they both love The Lord! Guys thanks a lot. Everything you guys just said, I went through and have bren through for most of my life. You guys are basically describing my life. Sadly, I haven't found a place to open up about this. Talked to many pastors and leaders and recovery groups, and have received the cold shoulder, ignored, ostricized. I got hurt by the church so much back at what used to be my home church, that it is so hard to open up again, cause of these things. Pray for me that God can provide community. Cause it is Biblical to have community, we cannot be by ourselves. Thanks for stressing that here. Wow!!!!!!! This is the most powerful podcast I’ve ever witnessed! I was deeply moved and blessed by Angel’s and Luis’s testimony! The way God used them both in a life changing experience and brought them closer to Jesus and now are disciples for Him is mind blowing! You can’t tell me God is not real after hearing their testimony from that tragic experience. But He can make beauty from ashes!! This convicted me so much. I’ve never known if there were gay men and women in my church, but after I listened to this, our pastor preached on “the elephant in the church” and sexual sin of any kind. He was not condemning gay people at all, but I felt compelled to tell him about this video and how we should welcome gay people with open arms, love them and let the Holy Spirit do the rest. I also apologize not just to gay people but to anyone who has felt like they were not welcome in church by people there. God calls us to love everyone, not just the outwardly godly people. Everyone of us has sin and temptation in their lives- as Paul says, I am the worst sinner and yet- Jesus Christ loves me and will take me as I am, with all my ugliness, and make me a new creation. Watching this brought so much realization that God wants our hearts and wants us to surrender all. I have felt lost for so long both in and out of the church since I was young and ran away from God and caught myself feeding into the temptations of sin. Being apart of the LGBTQ+ community I've felt that I have been cast out of what God's true calling is for my life. I want to be restored and cleaned not for being apart of the community but for going astray and leaving God.

Angel and Luis are so brave and inspiring. I appreciate you and Taylor allowing them to be so open and candid. 35% of my friends as well as several family members are in this catagory. I love all of them but there’s many that don’t and choose to abandon and push aside. I’ll try my best to always be there for all my family/friends no matter what.

“It’s not a gay-to-straight thing- it’s a lost to saved thing…” wow. That was so powerful it moved me to tears. Truer words have never been spoken. I was one of those judgmental Christians regarding homosexuality. Then I had a surgery and got addicted to painkillers. Every time I was in withdrawal I would ask God why he allowed me to go through this. I had teenaged daughters I was still trying to raise but I was acting crazy all the time. Long story lol. When I finally made it to rehab, I realized that was an opportunity He gave me. It was not a punishment for being judgmental but a necessary lesson for me to learn. It wasn’t an addicted-to-clean situation. It was a LOST TO SAVED situation. All these situations we are faced with are not about the physical body at all, though it feels like that at the time. This is a soul saving lesson we learned. Romans 8:10-11 If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

This is a message I needed to hear so badly. I live in the UK and God has been showing me favour at work and they’ve not chastised me for declaring my faith openly. I had felt for a little while that conversations may go towards homosexuality and God/church. God had been dealing with me for some years about the homosexuals but I admit, I’ve been hypocritical about it. I accept this message and I receive the love of God for all the homosexuals in my world and which God will bring into my world. I pray that the Lord will love these people through me in Jesus name.

When i first came out in Cristian light god showed me this after a year with joyce Myer ministry Taylor was on talk it out Taylor taught on the grace of god and shortly afterwards this vido popped up this video is so true im now fully male and god is currently guiding me on my lgtbq journey thanks Taylor for helping me
