Thank you so much for sharing Makeshift! Last year was my first year at Wasteland and I couldn't have been more blown away by what an amazing and accepting community I found. It was so wonderful to run into you several times and to make so many new friends. I am so sad we can't all be together again this year. I'm just an average person that bought a camera. I end up hiding behind my camera and take photos more than anything. I like to think I'm giving back to a wonderful community when I post the photos for all on the FB photo exchange site.

I totally appreciate the sentiment of what you're trying to say, but not everyone is fine or feel accepted everywhere they go. The performing arts industry is absolutely a bastion of acceptance but much of the rest of the world has more work to do. The costumes and imagery of a post-apocalypse event can be a little intimidating to some people, so this video is just letting everyone know it's quite the opposite.
