@@GeoBeatsAnimalsAre you the same guy from The Dodo video where you rescued that pig Arthur? I can't tell for sure because that video's under a different name, The Dodo, and this one is GeoBeats Animals, and there's no sign of Arthur and the other two pigs (was it Faye and Vivian?) that you brought home slightly before Arthur in this video. But you really look and sound like the guy from that video, it's funny how I can't tell for sure. Edit: Nevermind, lol, I wrote the above paragraph forgetting that the first time I watched this video, I stopped looking at the screen a few times to look at the dinner I was eating while watching this, I must've turned my head away from the screen coincidentally during the 2 different times the video showed what looked like an older bigger Arthur the pig. It really is great how you've given these pigs such safe, comfortable, and very happy lives. Especially compared to the horrible way many pigs out there are treated. Thank you for giving a group of pigs a great life. And you're right, they really do deserve it

I had a pig that last night once she had gotten out of her pen and we could not find her but she came back with this massive wound on her face acting like nothing was wrong we had to spray it every once in a while to try to get the maggots off But she was a pretty tough girl because she did not care worth a flick that she had just lost an eye. Which simply affirms my belief the pigs are some of the toughest animals on the face of this planet that do not regenerate limbs and I’ll be honest if they ever find out how to do that they’re probably going to conquer the world

RIP Schweinchen

"we're really living a very selfish life thinking that they've been here for us to consume." That almost made me cry. I've been thinking about going vegetarian or vegan the past few months. Watching so many animal videos makes it hard for me to continue to ignore how wrong I feel consuming them/their products just because I like the taste. Dealing with severe mental health issues, I'm trying my best to set up a life where I can feel satisfied with the food I eat without harming or using animals. I quit eating pork 7 years ago, here's to quitting all other meat and animal products, because I feel so much better knowing I didn't cause suffering for the things on my plate.

@@firstylasty9417 Humans are naturally omnivores and most people don't watch the slaughter of the pig that gave them bacon. The result is that a bunch of people eat bacon and don't care. It is necessary for animals to eat other animals, but what humans do to livestock is extremely unfortunate. We could at least maintain a quality of life and care for them before humanely slaughtering them, but most meat suppliers do neither because it isn't economically viable or even possible at all in order to meet the demand. And if a creature doesn't have the strength or voice to stop us, then we're happy to ignore its suffering for our benefit. ...If smarter, stronger aliens were to eat and enslave humans, it would be the same thing. It blows my mind sometimes that people don't comprehend this (and / or care.) But yes -- how nice if we could eliminate factory farming. Bravo to this man - and his companions. Yes. It's about time we treated pigs as the intelligent, sensitive, and caring animals that they are. We humans have lots of learning and growing up to do. Animals are not here just to exploit, abuse, and consume. They are in fact our teachers.

In regards to what you said about all animals being equal - I've also thought on this type of topic as I'm a vegetarian and I oppose eating animals. On the other hand, it's a bit complicated and contradictory. For example, over the past years, I've taken in some stray cats. They are absolute carnivores. While I cannot bring myself to buy pig or cow meat, I do feed them a seafood based diet. So, you could say, I value the life of a pig or cow much more than a fish. I feel a bit bad that fish are killed, but I care more about the well-being of my cats. We kind of muddle through life trying to cause the least amount of harm to others, but its not a perfect world.

Why do people think that just because they are viewed as food animals means they're worthless? In the world, prey animals have just as much worth as predator animals. It's all part of the circle of life. I believe that food animals should be used in entirety and as little as possible be wasted.

@@CanineGrowTime animals eat other animals in the animal kingdom, yes..... Notice humans aren’t in the animal kingdom? There’s a reason fruit and vegetables are readily available from the earth, and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t so we could ignore them and instead stuff thousands of pigs and chickens into tiny pens giving them muscle atrophy and torturing them until that final walk to the head-chopping station. Just food for thought......pun intended

The mental benefits of owning an animal can be expected to include enriched emotions, peace of mind, and motivation for action. Furthermore, physical benefits can be expected as well, such as calming blood pressure and pulse rate, and preventing metabolic syndrome by increasing physical activity through walks and other care. Animal Assisted Therapy\" is also becoming more widespread, in which physical functions and mental illnesses are improved with the help of trained animals. Even if there is no specific treatment, having an animal in one's life can have a variety of positive effects.🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐽🐽🐽🐽💖💖💖💖💖💖

I'm an Ex-farmer and treated all the animals like my kids, with so much love, I do believe we should eat some meat, but the animals should be free running around with the kids and snuggling... They should only ever have 1 bad day! and the death quick and painless. It was always a sad day when that come-round. I do think we should all be vegans majority of the time but 1-2 times a week is sustainable

@@z777z99 I am so happy your mother decided to switch to a vegetarian lifestyle. I am aware of the abuse of all the animals raised for food. I have seen the video " Meet your Meat." It is sickening. I have seen workers drop kick live chickens into the side of a building like they were a football. My heart hurts for abused animals, but also for babies scraped and torn apart in abortion clinics because they were an "inconvenience." The darkness of the heart of man knows no depth.
