I completely understand you 100%! A boy in college that kinda likes me sneezed, a really cute sneeze and I looked up from my book(geek, yes I know) and we met each others gaze... and because he liked me I wasn't sure whether saying bless you was crossing a line or something so I just smiled and we both burst out laughing! I felt really bad not saying 'bless you' so after we had finished laughing, I wiped the tears from my eyes and lent in to him and whispered... 'bless you'. It was a really cute experience xxxx

I once said "Bless you" to a guy who was walking down the street and I was in my bedroom (I live in a building). I didn't thought he'd answer, but, right after I said it, he replied with a "Thank you!". The funniest thing ever xD

Last month, my sister and I were visiting NYC and she sneezed as we were walking down the street. These two men were walking right in front of us and were clearly involved in a conversation. But as soon as she sneezed, one of them immediately turned around, cut himself off mid-sentence, and said, "Bless you," before carrying on. It was such a lovely gesture and it literally made both our days a little brighter. So, basically, keep doing what you're doing :)

I always say 'bless you' to strangers but rarely get strange looks unless I'm on a train for some reason. Possibly a difference between cities and little Welsh towns... My favourite lectuerer in Uni always blesses anyone who sneezes in her lectures, which is lovely, but when half of the 250-person lecture theatre had fresher's flu in the first few weeks of term, it started to genuinely interrupt the lecture. Highyl entertaining. Love you always Carrie x

I always sat bless you when people sneeze, like you said it is a nice thing to do for people. However, I hate when people say "bless you" to me. The reason is that I am like a compulsive sneezer and if I sneeze once I will be sneezing for the next ten minutes and it creates this weird loop of them constantly feeling they need to say bless you. I even go so far as to thanking people if they have said it once and telling them they do not need to say it again and I am grateful for the thought.
