🎉 Happy birthday, Ollie! I hope you and Charlene enjoy a peaceful day. That said, the situation with your daughter is heartbreaking. I know it's ongoing for many years, but still. It's clear you love and care for her. I hope she sees that. I'm sure she's been told a lot of things that weren't true over the years, so that will mean a lot for her to unravel mentally. It's just so sad...you're actually offering her what so many of us here would have wished for and loved to have had, but others are standing in the way of that happening. Sorry to be a downer, but this one hit me hard. I went NC with my father almost a year and a half ago after reconnecting for a few years--big mistake. Two months later, my mother passed away who I was also NC with. Let's just say there's been a lot of grieving this past year, and I'm finally coming out of it. Effectively losing both parents in the space of two months was a lot, and the shunning from the Flying Monkeys/extended family meant losing them, too. Like I said, lots of grieving this year. I would do anything to have a father give a damn about me like Ollie does about his daughter. I hope she knows that! Most of us here know that our only choice is to grieve the past and move on, so we do. Ollie and his daughter still have hope. I truly believe that! Love and prayers for her health concerns and that y'all are able to reconnect in a way that works for both of you. 🙏💜

I hope your followers do not just jump in and try to find your daughter online. She needs to sort through these issues in private, with your help, should she request it. When we finally understand what was done to us by these controlling people, it is very hard. Transgenerational trauma is a bitch. Ollie broke the chain in his life, but healing from childhood trauma is monumental. I call it crawling out of a 5-story deep mudslide. We are Ollie’s rooting section and want so much for there to be truth and reconciliation between Ollie and his daughter. However we are seeing this from Ollie’s angle, not Erin’s angle. If she wakes up she will experience the blinding pain of shock, horror, abandonment, betrayal. In her innocence as a child she believed her mother and grandparents. She actually was manipulated, used, and lied to. The grief and rage to be processed is huge. I know Ollie and Charlene will be there to catch her, but she has to have the gumption to face it and stick with the wide-eyed howling pain until the pain and horror is emptied and spent. I know little that is more evil than narcissism that is done to an innocent, defenseless child.
