What if someone pays Rs. 250/-. Will this part payment be adjusted against the principal amount or interest amount because there is no loan or advances in this transaction. As per RBI norms this part payment should be first adjusted against the principal amount otherwise it becomes a compounded interest not simple interest which societies don't follow mostly

Sir agar hum 2014 se building me rehane aaye hai aur builder ne kuch nahi kiya kuch members 2014 se maintenance pay kar rahe hai aur kuch members nahi pe kar rahe aur 2023 me society ragister ho gaye hai to hum members se kab se interest lagayenge 2014 se ya fir 2023 se?? Meri Socity me 110 flats hai or usme 1-2-3 bhk flats hai to chairman sabhi se 1500₹ per month charge karte hai, bt meeting me 1 bhk ko 800₹ , 2 bhk ko 1000₹ aisa tay hua tha. No bye laws, no society registration for a 20 flats apartment since 11 years. I have stopped maintenance as there is so much of money scams going on. Asked them to setup common bank account and cctv. They have stopped my water and electricity. They want to penalize me 1000 rs for 2000 rs delay per month. Is it legal? Pls clarify

It was nice video. 21% is ceiling. we have in our flat penalty @ Rs 5 per day. A member who continuosly delays the payment. For july 23 month he made pmt on 28-04-24 so we are leving penalty of Rs 1460 (292 days *5). likewise for all subsequent month for aug 23 delay of 261 days. Are we right in this method legaly or otherwise? can you inform us?

As per you Video explanation does it mean -- Rs.500 Per Month maintaince translates to Rs.6000 Per year ,, x 5 yrs dues = Rs. 30,000 + Rs. 525 = Rs. 30,525 ?? Our society is charging dues on net arrears .. is this correct by Co-OP Soc LAW ??

Builder has sold the flat but has not given the possession to the buyer. Now the same flat is being sold and maintenance is outstanding for 18 years. So can we charge interest his maintenance? Builder is saying society cannot charge interest as the possession is not given. So please suggest
