The weather is crazy in Montreal too. One week, we got a bad ice storm (lots of people lost electricity for 3-5 days). Then the week after, the weather hit the 70s for a few days and we are back in the 40s this week. I am so ready too for better warmer weather. I’m working on two crochet blankets, one for myself and a baby blanket for a friend. I’m working too on two pair of socks and those are for knit on the go when I go to my treatment at the hospital and my travels on the car too. This is my therapy, and I do love too when people look at me when I’m knitting like whoa that’s look complicated 😂 It’s so fun creating something with my hands and then give it away to people you love. I admire you so much. I am also a little envious of you. I cannot start a project so there fore I can do only one project at a time. I think it sounds like so much fun. I learned to knit sock using your vanilla top down sock pattern. I love it. Took me 2 years to learn. But your pattern and tutorial made the most sense to me and it clicked. I could understand you and you moved your mouth so I could understand your words. I am now working on my first pair of toe up socks, per your tutorial and knitting pattern. I’m loving it. I knit socks because I can take the to the hospital and medical facilities. Not big so no danger of spread of germs, Covid, etc. small so they stay on my lap. It soothes me, keeps me from snacking while is sit in my daughter’s room, end stage illness. Or if I take husband go to VA Hospital for cancer treatment. Thanks to you, socks are my new love, I’m now feeling like I can add some nice leg designs. I’m color blind, I will try colors for cuffs, heels and toes if sock yarn comes in a kit. I can’t figure colors. They look different. Thank you thank you! I love socks! You make them fun. I’ve used the 9” and the 32 and 40 circular needles, I tried dpns. Very confusing. I want to t knit rat. I think you have a tutorial for that. If I don’t see a tutorial, I try and get a book showing taat. You have given me much joy. Happy knitting and keep your pod casting and your channel. Highlight of my watching. I’m glad you don’t have you shop. You are so much more fun and relaxed. I’d get tense and anxious and tired for you!!

I was thrilled to watch your PodCast early this morning. I had surgery yesterday for the first time since I was a 6 year old girl. I was diagnosed with uterine cancer, but luckily, it was caught in the early stage. Still waiting for lymph node biopsy to return, but I am hopeful that it’s clear from cancer and I just need follow up periodically and to recover with beautiful podcasts like yours. I had not knit on a sock in such a long time, but I started socks a few says ago always following your 9 inch circulate vanilla pattern. Thanks again Key for being a positive light in the knitting community. That Cabana Berry bag is awesome.
