Walking and knitting is talent enough, but throw in “while walking in New York City”!!!! You are truly amazing Natalie!!

I love learning how different people craft. This method would absolutely stress me out, because I hate deadlines and I wouldn't enjoy the process at all with this much pressure. But other people thrive under pressure and love schedules! Knitting is my relaxing hobby, so even my goals are soft goals. I had a goal to knit two socks, and I did that and finished the second half of a third I had started before. I was pretty happy with that!

You were amazing Natalie. I did believe you could have finished all three socks and they were not short socks. I managed to meet my goal of one pair only because I made them shorties and I made them for Kathleen who has a smaller shoe size. Also I got a lot done while I was traveling so a lot of car knitting came in handy.

I started and finished one sock in due time for sock week 2022. I actually needed the buffer day to complete the toe. That night I did cast on for sock 2 before bed. Knitted the 2x2 rib for my usual 15 rounds. That way the following morning I continued on. This sock week idea has been extremely fun for me. Now I can give the grandchildren some much needed attention. Ken

I think sock week looked a lot of fun - and hard knitting! As a new subscriber I was too late to get organized for this year but I’ll join in next year! I think it will be interesting to see how far I can get in the process! However I definitely won’t be getting stressed out like some of the comments because it’s supposed to be fun- yeah? Thank you for hosting and well done for finishing those great looking socks!

I had so much fun during sock week! I had to adjust my plans too. I really wanted to finish a whole pair as fast as possible but realized on the last day, I was heading for an injured hand if I kept up the pace. So I took a few days off then got back to it, doing much shorter knitting sessions. Today I will finish the foot and possibly the toe!

Hi Natalie! I had such a good time with sock week. I got one sock and a half done! And BTW. I love Only Murders in the Building. I would totally love to live in that building. Minus the murders of course. lol. Stay cool 😎 this heat is just something else!!! 🥵

I knitted one sock today and haven’t knitted in a long time. I’m hooked on knitting socks. This winter I want to have more socks than I need lol.

Sock Week was so amazing this year! I thoroughly enjoyed it! I met my goal of a pair of socks (the little wolf knits sock set)! So proud of you for getting all of that knitting done!

Well done! Sock week was so much fun! I’m definitely participating in future events. I love your planning method (also your monthly goals) and am very inspired to think more actively on my knitting. Thanks for hosting!

This was fun to watch! I knit a full pair of socks this year with a couple days to spare, so I think next year I’ll try to get 3 socks done! I just barely started knitting for Sock Week last year, so it’s amazing to see how much faster and more comfortable I am now!

Hi Natalie! I really enjoyed sock week and I can’t wait to see this recap! I finished a pair of long socks, it had been a while since I knit a pair in a week and I’m really happy I pulled that off. Now I have to get back to a blanket with 77 hexagons which have to be done in a few weeks for my best friend that is getting married! I really should have planned better…🙈🙈

Yeah for 3 socks. My goal was to finish 1 and work on the 2nd. I’m. Proud to say I finished 2 socks in one week. Not only did I finish 2 socks but I had my grand daughter staying with me and we did a lot of fun activities during the week so I was also busy. I really want to do the perfect sock class. I haven’t found a way to sign up. Help please.

I pushed myself to knit a large pair of mens socks this week! I did it, but definitely tired my arms out 😅 I’m glad to see that you’re in the same boat as me as far as making unrealistic goals. I’m glad you give yourself permission to step back and reset and forgive yourself when you don’t do what you wanted! I need to hear that also 😁

Why so much emphasis on goals and schedules? It's too stressful for me. I guess it's a NYC thing. I just knit when I can and enjoy the process. 😀
