all the new bolts were from ebay.. you can just search stainless steel bolts with your bike model... FYI, the bolt sets are pre made for multiple models so you will get extra bolts that you might not need

you should have kept posting videos on your rebuild man, you're the only channel that has legit cb550 hands on videos. thanks for your previous uploads so far! @SocoMoto707

When installing a new gasket, you should use sealer just where the two crank cases meet, (the gasket should be dry) about 10mm either side of the join. I use Threebond 1207B for that, which is the recommended gasket sealer in the Suzuki manuals... with a new clutch kit, gasket and springs, you should have also done the clutch adjustment on the outside of the clutch cover at the bottom, before connecting the clutch cable... The only time I will ever use a gasket sealer on a gasket, is if the gasket surfaces are old or have been damaged, in which case I will use Loctite 515...

Noticed you put the gasket on dry. No gasket sealer around the casing and/or the cover?

Nice videos. I'm currently rebuilding a 74 550k. If I may be so bold as to add something on here. You really should be using nickel compound with those stainless steel bolts on a aluminum engine.

i didnt put any sealer around the clutch gasket. when you put the oil in, the oil should make it expand

I've been wondering, in all of your videos, I've seen the motor on a stand. Did you make that jig yourself? Mind telling me the specs of the jig? I would like one for my motor too when I take it apart. Thanks a bunch

yeah i made that stand, but i just welded some steel together so there really arent any specs. the stand basically just bolts up to the engine mounts. i think you can buy one on ebay for around $40.
