I'm really, really happy the ways you acquire runes isn't going to be spoiled. Discovering that on your own while playing is going to be really fun. Personally for resto druid im grabbing fury of storm rage over living seed because living seed requires a crit but at low levels you wont have more than maybe 15% crit so instant heals are going to proc more and you can sit there and apam wrsth when your hots are rolling.

People are sleeping on "Prayer of Mending". Priest lack some what a mana effective aoe healing spell, well you got that now. Combined with "Penance" you got 2 new heals that make Priest EVEN better as healers.

What baffles me about "melee hunter" is how so many players act like they don't have ranged abilities anymore. A melee hunter, is and will always be, a hybrid ranged/melee build. Don't limit yourself. It's the definition of a skirmish class.

I’ve heard a few ppl mention using aimed shot from Shadowmeld. Just an fyi, shadowmeld breaks at the start of the cast in vanilla 1.12. Still useful for getting off a surprise aimed shot, just not guaranteed. Love the video btw.

Way of earth gives shaman the ability to use both earth shock and frost shock on cooldown. Based on ptr footage way of earth doesn't just turn your earth shock into a taunt kick.

A lot of people seem to be confusing shadowstrike as an ambush attack but it clearly doesn’t say that… It’s just a normal weapon swing at 150% weapon damage Doesn’t say anything about requiring daggers, doesn’t add extra damage on top of the percentage and doesn’t have a crit modifier Shit ability

I´ve mained paladins and hunters my entire wow journey. Tho I´ve only played wow 2005 til the release of wotlk and then like 1 free week during cata which sucked. But nontheless I´m excited to try out druid for the first time. I love the hybrid variation in vanilla where class identity is still a thing, I just hope they stay strong even into the later lvls and not just at 25. Druids are so dope, specially Nelf druids... then again I might just have to resort into the ol healing which would kinda suck. After all I had 2 palas at 60 and 1 hunter. I cba to only heal :S

Fishing will be a bis moneymaking profession, esp on rogues for lockpicking and safely skulking i high level zones to fish (especially if the make a HC server, and yes please). Perhaps undead to get underwater breathing (if you can find a Horde populated SOD server and enjoy Horde faction). Strip all the chests and fishing pools form coast to coast, and open them up! You will get higher level items early on. Farm up your progression gear, or sell it all and make stacks of loot, and everyone can fish. Rogue is mainly b/c you can open the lockboxes you fish up, or locked chests you find underwater, all with vanish and stealth, but any class can do this. :)

From what I understand, Shadowbolt is the one that becomes a melee cleave with a 6sec cooldown. Searing Pain just becomes instant, and is still usable at range.

@@TGShunai Yeah pretty much, that's why I've seen a bunch of people complaining about SoD PvP balancing for Locks, because Searing Pain is meant to be used for threat generation and seems to be only balanced around PvE tanking. Not to mention that if you take the Aftermath talent, each Searing Pain has a chance to daze for 5 secs, and if you take the Incinerate rune, it increases all fire damage (i.e. Searing Pain) to the target by 25% for 15 secs. The only thing keeping it in check is that the base damage of the spell is kinda low (around 38-47 damage at level 25). Still... I would not be suprised if a nerf is incoming for warlock PvP in the near future.

my mind is going crazy with ideas. Shamans killing people with 2 healing spells, rogues sprinting invis while mages give them fire trail to burn the hell out of a flag room, mages tab targeting living bomb with something like 27% crit chance. my troll mage with icy veins and zerking casting arcane blast while 100% of the dmg heals my group, or how ridiculously buffed mage aoe farming probably just became, imagine a pull that takes 60-120 seconds taking only 30 now. I'm excited!

With rogue you have some gimmicky combos for opening on people 1v1 but their lvl25 runes dont hold up to other classes runes as far as pvp goes imo. If they dont get Cloak of Shadows or Burst of Speed, or something good at some point it looks like a class ill be taking a hard pass on.

I am confused, who ever played Resto Shaman in vanilla PvP? I ranked to 14 on my Horde Druid, and the only time we would use a Resto Shaman was when we were 100% out of any other healer. They are just locked down too easily and has to hard cast everything. In SoD they might be viable tho, if built tanky. As for the Priest, they will be insane. With Mending and Penance, and access to Desperate Prayer when all Priest Racials open up, they will be insanely hard to kill now.

Paladin pvp - Leg Rune: Avenger's shield should not be slept on. Big problem with paladins is they get kited right? Pursuit of justice with this rune... oh boy. First off this is a daze (Yeah, ain't getting out of that) and it lasts for a full 10 seconds. Do you know how long that is in pvp? With a 30 second cooldown and a 30 yard cast time (instant), I mean it's a no brainer. What are you giving up? Sadly your spell interrupt Rebuke but think about that for a second. An interrupt you have to be... where to use it? Melee. Well, would you rather be doing no damage and getting kited? Or doing your full damage kit within melee range and probably eat a couple spells? Simple swap macro if you need to have a shield equipped which doesn't seem to be slated in the tooltip but it's a good guess. I'd say this is what people go to for it. With the upfront damage you can put out with Seal of Command, Crusader Strike, Divine Storm and auto attack + judgement into a stun and repeat, I feel Paladins are your best melee option at this level. Not to mention you have a free BiS (pre-raid) freebie 2h in the paladin quest Verigan's Fist. So even if you don't get the BoE 2h, you still have a great option.

I only watched the hunter section of this but theres been zero confirmation on in combat traps, only some datamined spell variants. Also you mention "melee hunter" getting entrapment when you dont get a single trap that can proc it at lvl 25 lol. Cant wait to see all the fotm lone wolf hunter players that think they'll be able to start every fight with a "big aimed shot from meld" lol.

Hunter traps aside from being used in combat also have range to them.... Raptor strike was changed to a 3 sec cd and now its not "on next hit" anymore, it s instant. For all the "getting to the target" if we are talking pvp in Ashenvale then you will have a pvp mount for 50% movement speed. I dont see a lot of people doing the wsg as you can get the honor and tokens from the pvp in Ashenvale. I cant wait for this... just hope the populations arent a steam roll for either side
