One thing that would be interesting is SM runs using hunter pet to pull all into a target dummy and then using explosive trap and frost with a mage. I think it would be an insane farming opportunity.

Read decoy totem...it says it casts at the feet of the target...I think it may be a targetable totem with the idea that you can give it to party members...kinda neat

I am trying to practice masse pull the boars and guards in rfk. Difficult without aoe slow trap, as the boars charge a lot, losing formation too easily. Guess pulling 2-3 mobs at a time is max for level 25 cap

For shamans, flame shock inherently sucks ass so bad that I'm looking for any excuse to not use it, and by extension lava burst. Between the instant aoe burst of molten blast with fire nova totem projection there is more than enough to work with to never use it. If I'm going to hard cast at 36+ yards where it's safe, I'm spamming LB/CL. If I need to be closer. Earth shock/frost shock for utility to interrupt or slow targets, and molten blast and fire nova searing totem is enough. I can safely say having to get within 20 yards to hard cast lava burst and waste your shock CD for flame shock while have zero spell knock back prevention and that awkward gcd cool down after shocking sucks ass, and is the most unfun rune in the game. Putting yourself in danger range (sub 20 yards) to put yourself on gcd and then hard cast a 2 second easily interruptable and predictable spell is garbage. The with the gcd, it's at least 3.5 seconds to get that damage out.

it's so funny to me that so many classic players don't know about melee wings! look it up, that is one of the versions of healer paladin in later xpacks that slapppps for arena. it's high risk high reward but does a lot of dam and has a big kit for a good healer and dps.

@@jacobkenyon2299 melee wings is the shit actually, its so fun to play. As far as pvp in retail currently being dead, its the end of the xpack, and that always happens to some degree. Arena in retail is currently more balanced than it has been in years.

One small note for shaman they have changed stormstrike to a 6s cd and its a perma 20% nature damage buff

I feel like the dual wield rune really just evens out the raptor strike difference between dual wield vs a slow 2-Hander. I feel like it would be better to go with melee specialist using a 2-hander and then use invigorate on the boots to keep your mana up? Or am I missing something?

There is a strong possibility that shadow priest is getting out of the "Meme" this phase... With shadowfiend and the new shadow form, mana issues will hopefully cease to exist, and with Mind spike being a rune, that means that shadow priests will have a STRONG rune ability to do dmg as well as a dot ( void plague), combined with the 100% mind blast crit that u pick up at lvl 40. Disc priests will definetly fall off compared to P1... as healer priest u will mostly go holy i suppose. Resto druid and resto shaman will not really threaten priest in pvp as a healer, but if they keep sacred shield a 500 dmg absorb, holy pala is probably getting the Tr1 spot as healer.

Druid for sure. Shaman still looks like he is gonna have mobility issues. Both enhance and ele will be doing some crazy dmg but honestly... who won't? The difference is that Ele is relied on heavy casting compared to other casters , and enhance has mobility issues compared to other meeles. If you also want to do pvp, 100% druid. If u are interested 100% in pve, whatever...Still druid though.

Warriors will be nutty. It was already strong in p1, but p2 is where it really opens up Druids ecplise rune looks kinda boring imo. Having to hardcast 3.5 sec starfire to get crit on wrath and vice versa.. I would rather have Wrath reduce the cast time of Starfire by 30 or 50%, and starfire increasing the crit of wrath or smth like that

I'm worried about Shaman/Paladin, and the overall focus on SoD to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I love SoD so far, it's the favourite version of WoW for me. However the "idea" behind Classic+ was to keep the good parts of vanilla that everyone liked, but fix some of the flaws that didn't work out so well. Most importantly, that half the specs in the game was considered "unviable". This hit the hybrid classes worst as they were functionally just healbots. *If they now make Holy Paladins one of the best healers in the game, at the same time as they make Retribution Paladins one of the worst DPS in the game, they are making the EXACT same mistake all over again.* It's trending in the direction of just making the already best classes even better, comparatively. Well, at least they have managed to fix Feral Druids and Protection Paladins it seems, so at least it's one step in the right direction.

Like I was saying. Warrior runes are boring and this makes no sense. we already know what classic era warrior is like from 25-40. So it’s basically going to play EXACTLY the same. using the fact that they are top dps just to make a them “no changes” warrior from 25-40 is dumb. I’d rather be in 4th and have fun invented Runes like all the other classes. How about a new stance? why not just add Bladestorm on a 5 min cd.

I monitor my mixer while editing and I test these videos with headphones, my TV's surround sound set up and studio monitors. It's a long video so there may be a few sections where music swells were too loud and I missed it, but 99% of it should be fine.

Why is this solely focused on pve? Like who cares if you deal a couple of dps more or less than another class in a dungeon that will be on farm status in a couple of weeks? What is way more important honestly is pvp viability, as open world pvp is a core part of SoD, especially in P2. Sadly this part was completely left out and the picture painted for some classes like warlock would look very different... they are in a bad spot at 40 and are completely neglected...
