Some good tips there Mark. Boy, my knees could feel you digging there. That's quite a ditch. You're right about us not ever getting it all figured out in the garden. I'm glad it's that way too. You might consider investing in a broadfork. They will go deeper and cover 3x the width. They are easier on your back, too! :)

After this till, I realized my soils are too fragile to continue this way. A broad fork....let me see if I can find one....
