Howdy brother- I used to use baking soda and a little salt years ago for toothpaste and I guess it worked pretty good. I may have to try the coconut oil in. Hope all is well. God bless

You did a good job. With the wire connectors you bought, you don't need to Strip the ends. You placed a wires inside the connectors and then squeezed the metal Piece down, and it connects to wires for you.

Always check your rooting powder- most of it is highly toxic- wear gloves, don't inhale.

Does the masa hold up when you open them. Or is it a bit mushy. I’m thinking if one is going to can tamales maybe make the masa less mushy to start with. Please help me . I’m trying to do this.

I’d set jars in hot water to loosen up the fat holding them in jar.
