Even though this isn't a new episode I'm glad that we have the full episode now. I will admit I'm still debating if this or The Flying Sudrian is better. Also not to mention the new thumbnail for this one is a nice touch. Keep up the good work James and I can't wait to see more episodes.

What’s something I have to respect about your series is the absolute ball bearings to make your favourite character the worst character. Seriously, I’ve seen a lot, A-LOT, of jackhole James’ in my day but yours is by far the most toxic in recent memory. Don’t misunderstand, I’m not jabbing at your skill as a writer, your really good at spinning existing stories while slyly adding in your own, causing them to fit perfectly. I’m just acknowledging what a horrid person James is. There’s the all the usual traits (the vainity, the condescending arrogance, the inability to show respect) but I like how you mostly exemplify his hatred of diesels even though, in comparison to Oliver and Gordon, they’ve done nothing to him specifically. And that shows with his ‘steam supremacy’ speech in “Banned”, his admiration of Spencer (an engine who is more problematic than most diesels) and here, where he openly and with no remorse advocates the removal & potential execution of an engine HE saved without a second thought, all because that said engine was annoying. Just shows that his prejudice is just that, self glorifying hatred fueled by pride and bigotry to a point where I wouldn’t be surprised if he started getting violent with them. All & all, great work m@ keep it up 👍

Between you and me, I’m fed up with James at this point. At this point he’s becoming an irredeemable monster and the Fat Controller does NOTHING to stop it. He needs to be punished so he can learn his lesson. My hope is banishment to quarry duties with no wash downs, or static display while having his red paint removed and replaced with black.
